Chapter 23: Join Us

There we were, as the clan was getting ready to leave. As it was clear that a lot of cats weren't happy with the fact that I was going. But there were just as many that were happy with it after seeing me being home a rabbit.
As it was that I had seemed to have kept my self calm. That was when it was that I did in fact hear the voice of a tom cat speak from behind me. As I jumped off my paws in surprise, just as it had been the case.
"Are you ready to go MintNose? I hope you are excited... This is the one time that we get peace between the clans..." I heard the voice of SnakeStar go and speak to me.
As it was that he had said as to just what he had said. I felt like I wanted to be happy with what he had said. But at the same time as well, I knew that he was being hypocritical.
I then did in fact go and squint my eyes at the tom. Before it was that I then did in fact speak back to him. Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case.
"Funny for you to say that SnakeStar... Didn't you start a battle at the last gathering? Your clan killed a few FrostClan cats..." I did in fact just seem to say, all of the sudden.
As it was that I was not happy about that as I came to think on it. As it was that the tom cat then all of the sudden had his eyes grow wide. As it was clear that it had surprised him as to just what I had said.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I then did in fact hear FlameTail speak. As it was that I did in fact listen as to just what it was that he had to say.
"That wasn't us... That was FrostClan that started that! They broke the warrior code, and they attacked first!" He did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too.
He hissed at the end of just what it was that he had said. As it was clear that he was not happy at what he had said. As it was that he seemed to still be okay with me.
I did in fact do my best to try to stay calm. As I had my eyes wide as I did in fact look back at the tom. Just as soon as SnakeStar then seemed to speak for him self.
"Thank you FlameTail... But I can handle this..." He did in fact just seem to say. As it was that he then did in fact nod back to the tom just as soon as he had said that.
The young tom did in fact seem to have his eyes wide. As it was that he did in fact just seem to nod back to his leader, at that. As I then did in fact listen as to just what he had to say as he spoke back to him too.
"Yes... I am sorry SnakeStar... I am just defending our clan..." He did in fact just seem to say. As he felt like he had to defend him self on what it was that he had said.
It didn't seem to bother SnakeStar all too much at all. As he did in fact get his focus back on me. Just as soon as it was that I then did in fact go and speak up as well.
"Aren't you the same cats that are breaking the code trying to take over their land and walking all around it?" I did in fact just seem to say, all of the sudden.
As it was that my fur did in fact seem to grow. Just as soon as it was that I had in fact said that. As it was that it once again did in fact not make sense to me at all.
Just as soon as it was that I had said as to just what I had said. That was when it was that I then did in fact begin to hear the tom cat speak. As I did in fact listen as to just what it was that he had to say.
"Well... That is because I am trying to unite us as one... It is like I said MintNose... You will soon see, and under stand for your self." He said right back on over to me.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. That was when it was that I then did in fact begin to shake my head back to him. As it was that I also let out a bit of a rough sigh as well.
He seemed to be a bit confused as to just why it was so at first. Until I then did in fact go and start to speak back to the tom. As it was that I made sure that he heard what I had to say next.
"Well... ColdFeet told me that they might not even come to the gathering... So I wouldn't be surprised if it is just us..." I did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to see the tom cat squint his eyes at me him self. As we just seemed to stare at each other in silence. As it was clear that we didn't agree at all with things at this moment.
As it was that we seemed to stare for just a bit more time. The tom then did in fact go and shake his head right back at me. As it was that he did in fact also go and speak back to me, just as he had done before.
"Well... They will soon come around and join us... As you can clearly see we are better off together... They don't seem to be doing very well now, do they?" He did in fact just seem to say, all at once.
As he had a smirk on his face just as soon as he had said that. As it was clear that he felt like he had got me on that one. Which I felt like was not at all the case what so ever.
I then did in fact go and shake my head right back at him. As it was that I then did in fact also go and speak back to him just as it was so. As I made sure that he heard as to just what it was that I had to say.
"Yeah... That is because you are taking their land and making it hard for them to hunt, and scaring them... That isn't going to let them grow strong..." I did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too.
Just as soon as it was that I had said as to just what I had said. That was when it was that the tom cat then did in fact just seem to smile. As it was that he did in fact also begin to go and speak back to me too.
"That is precisely the point..." He did in fact just seem to say. As it was that he did in fact look at his clan mates just as he had said that. As he then did in fact nod back to them to try to get his approval, at that.
The cats seemed to be a bit lost as to what was going on at first. But in the end, the cats that were close enough by to hear. Did in fact go and nod back to the tom cat, all at once.
It seemed like he was a bit of a yes cat if I wasn't going to lie. As I did in fact go and squint my eyes back at him. Before it was that I then did in fact go and speak back to him too.
"Well... I don't agree with that... That is wrong SnakeStar..." I did in fact say back to him, all at once. As it was that he had a blank look on his face just as it was that I had said it.
It was clear that it didn't come to any sort of surprise to him at all. As it was that in the end, he then did in fact let out a bit of a rough sigh. Just before it was that he then did in fact go and speak back to me.
"Well... This is your chance to try to change my mind MintNose... So are you going to come or not?" He did in fact just seem to say. As it was that he did in fact roll his eyes at me just as it was that he had said that.
It was clear to me that he was being sarcastic on what he had said. As it was clear that he was letting me know he wasn't changing his mind. But I felt like I could care less about any of it for the time being.
I then did in fact just seem to have my eyes grow wide. As it was that I then did in fact begin to go and nod back to the tom. Just as it was that I also did in fact go and speak back to him, all at once.
"Of course... I need to make sure that my clan mates are okay... One of them is very sick..." I did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As it was that my eyes were wide just as soon as it was that I had in fact said that.
Just as soon as it was that I had said as to just what I had said. The tom cat then did in fact go and nod right back on over to me. As it was that he then did in fact also just seem to go and speak back to me as well.
"Yes... So CrystalRock has told me... I am sure that he will be fine though, and he will be healthy at the gathering..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too.
Just as soon as it was that he had said as to just what he had said. I was almost tempted to ask if he could come here for help. But I felt like it was a little bit too much to ask.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. That was when it was that I then looked at CrystalRock who was near by. As it was that she had her eyes wide just as soon as it had been the case.
Just as soon as it was that I had done as such a thing like that. She then did in fact seem to go and shake her head back at me. Almost as if it was that she did in fact under stand as to just what I was thinking.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I did in fact seem to blink my eyes a few times. As it was that I just then did in fact begin to start to hear SnakeStar speak out loud.
"Alright cats of FireClan! Follow me to the gathering place!" He did in fact just seem to say. As it was that he had his head held high just as soon as it was that he had said that.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact been that sort of way. That was when it was that I then did in fact begin to start to hear some cats talk. As it was that he had WhisperThroat then began to lead out of the camp.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact been that sort of way. That was when it was that I then did in fact begin to start to go and move with them. As it was that I did in fact hear the voice of WhisperThroat go and speak to him self, at that.
"Hopefully soon... We won't have to worry about gatherings any more..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I did in fact just seem to gulp just as soon as he had said that.
I was not at all too sure as to just what he had meant by that. But I felt like it must not be any thing good. As it was that I knew that gatherings were a time of peace for the clans.
As it was that I had just seemed to have thought on that for some time. I then did in fact just seem to shake my head all of the sudden. As I got my mind and my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts.
