Chapter 13: Time To Waste

I looked at the tom cat with my eyes wide, all at once. As it was clear that he was being serious with what he had said, at that. As it was that I did in fact just seem to blink my eyes quite a few times.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I then did in fact begin to speak back to him. As it was that I did in fact make sure the rest of the clan could hear what I had to say.
"You haven't even tried looking for her? You didn't try to track her scent?" I did in fact just seem to say, at that. As it was that I did in fact do my best to try to act as calm as I could.
As it was that I had said as to just what I had said. I then did in fact seem to see all of the cats. As it was that they then did in fact dip their heads quite a bit low to the ground.
I did in fact do my best to try to keep my self calm either way. As it was that my eyes continued to stay wide. Just as it was that ColdFeet then did in fact begin to go and speak back to me, all at once.
"Yes... She was smart with what she did and she told me during the night what she was doing... It was during a snow storm, and there wasn't much to track when it was all over with... We have seen no sign of her in over a moon..." He did in fact seem to say.
His face did in fact just seem to be covered in guilt. As it was that it did in fact seem like there was a deeper meaning behind that. As it was that I just then did in fact go and squint my eyes back at him.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I then did in fact just seem to tilt my head. As it was that I once again did in fact speak back to him, such as I had done before.
"You shouldn't give up... And if you have really given up, why have you not gone to get your name as a leader?" I did in fact just seem to say to him, all at once.
As it was that I did in fact blink my eyes a few times. Just as soon as it was that I had said what I had said. As I knew that he knew as to just what it was that I was talking about.
As it was that I had said as to just what I had said to him. The tom cat did in fact seem to let out a rough sigh. Before it was that he then did in fact also go and shake his head back at me.
Just as soon as it was that he had done as such a thing like that. I then did in fact also begin to start to once again hear him speak back to me. As it was that I then did in fact listen as to just what he had to say.
"Let's talk about this in the leaders den... Some of these cats will not under stand this..." I did in fact just seem to hear him say. As it was that he then did in fact turn his head around just as it was the case.
I felt like I wanted to stick up for my self and the rest of his clan. As it was that these cats did in fact seem to be very genuine. But at the same time as well, I also knew that I didn't know the full story.
It seemed like that was what he was trying to get me to do. As it was that I did in fact do my best to try to act as calm as I could. As it was that I then did in fact go and start to speak back to him, at that.
"We can do that... But first I need you to take care of my friend MothBall... He is very sick and he needs herbs and healing..." I did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As it was that I did in fact do my best to keep my self as calm as I felt like I could.
Just as soon as it was that I had said as to just what I had said. I then did in fact go and look back at my clan mate. As it was that he seemed like he was just about out of it at this point.
How ever, his mate had heard as to just what I had said. As it was that she then did in fact nod back to me. As it was that she then also began to speak back to me quietly too.
"Thank you MintNose..." She did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too. As it was that she did in fact have a serious look on her face just as she had said that.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I then did in fact begin to keep my self calm. As it was that I then did in fact go and nod back to her just as soon as it was the case.
Just as soon as I had done as such a thing like that. I then did in fact also seem to lower my head to the ground. As it was that I did in fact go and speak back to her too.
"Of course..." I did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As it was that I then did in fact finally just seem to turn my head away from all of that. Just as soon as it was that I had in fact looked back at ColdFeet.
As it was that I had in fact locked eyes with the deputy of Frostclan. I then did in fact hear another voice from behind me. As it was the voice of the same tom cat as before, SnowTail, as I listened as to just what he had to say.
"Okay... What exactly is wrong with your mate?" He did in fact just seem to say to RappidBlossom. As it was clear that he knew that MothBall was unable to respond right now.
As it was that it had seemed to have just been the case. I was tempted to turn my head around and help her. But I knew that it wasn't my place to do as such a thing like that.
Just as soon as it was that it had been that sort of way. That was when it was that I heard RappidBlossom speak. As it was that I also did in fact listen as to just what the she cat had to say, all of the sudden.
"He has WhiteCough... I think that is what MintNose and CrystalRock told us..." She did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too.
She did her best to try to keep her self as calm as she could. As I could hear the fear in her voice, none the less. On what it was that she had just said to their medicine cat.
Just as it was that it had in fact been that sort of way. I then did in fact also seem to hear SnowTail speak back to her. As it was that I then did in fact go and listen as to just what he had to say, at that.
"Okay... That is not good at all... He is going to need rest and some catmint... Come with me and I will see what I can fetch him..." He did in fact just seem to say to her.
It was clear that he was taking them to the medicine den, at that. As it was that I did in fact feel not so good about splitting apart from my clan mates. As it was that I did in fact do my best to try to stay calm.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I then did in fact begin to start to hear ColdFeet speak. As I then did in fact go and listen as to just what the tom cat had to say him self.
"Okay... Are you ready to come with me MintNose?" He did in fact just seem to say to me, all at once. As it was that he did in fact just seem to blink his eyes just as he had said that.
By this point, it seemed like all of the other cats had lost interest in us. Which I did in fact feel like was more than likely for the better. As it was that I did in fact nod and also speak back to him as well.
"Yes... Let's do this..." I did in fact just seem to say back to him. I had a serious look on my face just as soon as it was that I had said that. As it was that I just then did in fact also blink my eyes just a few times.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. I then did in fact do my best to act as calm as I felt like I could do. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to simply turn my head away.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. I then all of the sudden heard the voice of one of my clan mates. As it was in fact ShiloWing who was beginning to speak, all at the exact same time too.
"Wait... Shouldn't we be coming with you? Don't we need to figure out what is going on as well? I thought we were on this mission together..." I did in fact just seem to hear her say, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I saw that she did in fact have her eyes squinted at me. As it was that she also did in fact have a fair point on what she had said. As I felt like I should agree on just what it was that she had said.
Except for the fact that it was that I knew this needed to be private. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to shake my head back at her. Before it was that I then did in fact look back at ColdFeet and speak back to him, never the less.
"Is there some thing that my clan mates can do to help in the mean time while we are doing this?" I did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As it was that I did in fact do my best to act as calm as I felt like I could.
Just as soon as it was that I had said as to just what I had said. I did in fact seem to see the tom cat blink his eyes a few times at first. As it was that he did in fact also look back at me with his eyes wide.
In the end how ever, he then did in fact go and nod back to me. As I then did in fact also begin to hear him speak back to me as well. As I then did in fact go and listen as to just what ever it was that he had to say.
"Yes... WaterNose, and OnyxFrost... Would you both like to take these cats on a hunting patrol? We could really use some food..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time as well.
Just as soon as it was that he had said as to just what he had said. That was when it was that I then did in fact begin to start to look at the cats. That it was that I had in fact seen him go and look at him self.
I did in fact see 2 cats have their eyes wide as it was the case. As it was that I then did in fact begin to hear the voice of one, who was a she cat. As I then did in fact begin to listen as to just what she had to say.
"But ColdFeet... Isn't it dangerous for us to go out and hunt around this time of the day?" She did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As she did in fact have quite a bit of a scared look on her face just as she had said that.
I was completely lost as to just what it was that she was talking about. As it was that I felt like this was in fact the perfect time to hunt. As it was that I just then did in fact do my best to act as calm as I could.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact been the case. That was when it was that I did in fact do my best to start to act normal. As it was that I once again did in fact hear ColdFeet go and speak back to her.
"Relax WaterNose... You can hunt further out, and FireClan should not be out there..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As it was that it did in fact remind me that there was in fact another clan out there.
It also did in fact remind me as to why CrystalRock had not taken us there. As it was that I did in fact gulp at the thought of that clan. As it was that I did in fact just seem to do my best to act calm, at that.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. I then did in fact begin to start to hear the voice of another cat. As it was the other tom cat that he had spoken to.
"Yes ColdFeet... We will go out and hunt... We will bring prey a plenty for our clan..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too. As it was that he did in fact seem to have a positive attitude, at that.
How ever, based off of the look that I saw was on his face. He did in fact just seem to be as scared as every one else, at that. As it was that I did in fact just seem to shiver, at that.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I then did in fact go and look at my clan mates. As it was that I did in fact begin to also go and speak to them as well, at that.
"Alright... Go and help them... They need food..." I did in fact just seem to say to the other 3, all at once. As it was that I did in fact do my best to act as calm as I felt like I could.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I did in fact do my best to act as calm as I could. As it was that I then did in fact begin to simply go and turn my head back to ColdFeet.
I saw that the tom cat had his eyes right on me, all at once. As just as it was that my clan mates and his did in fact begin to leave the camp. I then did in fact just seem to start to hear him go and speak to me, at that.
"Alright... Come here... Let's go and talk further in the den... There is a lot to talk about..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As it was that he did in fact have his eyes wide just as soon as it was the case.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact been that sort of way, at that. I then did in fact just seem to simply go and blink my eyes a few times. As it was that I just then did in fact also go and nod right back to him.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I then did in fact just seem to mutter some thing. As it was that I did in fact make sure that he could hear as to just what I had to say.
"Alright... I am coming..." I did in fact just seem to say back to him. As it was that I did in fact blink my eyes a few times just as I had said that. As it was that I then did in fact begin to follow to tom towards the den.
Just as it was that I had done as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when it was that the both of us did in fact seem to walk in side. As it was that I did in fact just seem to shiver at how cold it was.
As it was that it had just seemed to have been the case. That was when it was that I did in fact just seem to look all around with my eyes wide. As it was that I then did in fact begin to start to speak back to the tom.
"Wow... This is pretty big for a den... Even for a leaders den at that..." I did in fact just seem to say to him, all at the exact same time too. As I was amazed at all of the space that was in fact in side of here.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. That was when it was that I did in fact seem to blink my eyes a few times. As it was that I then did in fact also begin to start to hear the voice of him go and speak back to me as his eyes were wide.
"You speak as if you have been in a leaders den before..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was that he did in fact almost seem to be surprised by what he had said.
As it was that it had in fact just been the case, all at once. I then did in fact also just seem to start to realize. As to the fact that it was clear that I was not a clan leader my self.
As it was that it had in fact just been the case, all at once. That was when it was that I then did in fact go and nod back to the tom cat. As it was that I then did in fact also begin to go and speak back to him too.
"Of course... My mate is the leader of Windclan... I am used to sleeping in one every night..." I did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As it was that I did in fact just seem to blink my eyes a few times, at that.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. I also then did in fact seem to see him blink his eyes quite a few times. As to the fact that I had said as to just what I had said.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I then did in fact begin to start to hear him speak back to me. As it was that he seemed to be some where else I'm his mind right now.
"Oh... I didn't realize that... He must be worried sick about you if you are on such a long journey like this..." He did in fact just seem to say to me, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that he had said as to just what he had said. He did in fact just seem to have a bit of a sad look on his face, at that. As I was not at all too sure why that was in fact the case, never the less.
Either way, I did in fact do my best to act as calm as I felt like I could. As it was that I did in fact just seem to go and tilt my head a bit. Before it was that I then did in fact begin to go and speak back to him.
"The clans have bigger things to worry about than me right now... He knows that I am okay, and that is all that really matters..." I did in fact just seem to say, all at once.
I did in fact wince on the fact that it was that I had said that. As it was that I did in fact know how bad it was that I did in fact miss MoonStar. As it was that I wished so badly that he was here with me right now.
As it was that it had just seemed to have been the case, all at once. That was when it was that I did in fact do my best to try to stay calm. As it was that I then did in fact begin to start to wake my self up.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. I once again did in fact just seem to start to hear ColdFeet go and speak. As it was that I then did in fact listen as to just what he had to say, at that.
"And where you live at? Is it a good safe place to live?" He did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As his eyes were wide once again, none the less. On the fact that it was that he had in fact asked that kind of question.
Now I was starting to get a bit worried and concerned my self. As to the fact that it was that he was asking me all of these questions. As it was that I just then did in fact go and start to squint my eyes back at him.
Just as soon as it was that I had in fact done as such a thing like that. I then did in fact also just seem to go and shake my head back at him. As I spoke right back to him after doing as such a thing like that.
"We are here for you... Not for me... What happened to your leader?" I did in fact just seem to say to him, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I did in fact seem to be suspicious on the fact that I had said that.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. The tom cat then did in fact just seem to dip his head quite a bit low to the ground. As it was that he did in fact seem to have a guilty look on his face, at that.
It was beginning to start to worry me even more, all at once. As it was that I just then did in fact begin to go and shiver. Before it was that he then did in fact finally go and start to speak right back to me.
"She left one night during the cold... She couldn't take what she had done... She left me to be the leader... Said that she would be back soon... But she hasn't been back since... I sent cats out to look for her, but due to the blizzard we have had no luck..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at once.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I then did in fact do my best to act calm. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to start to act as normal as I felt like I could.
Based off of the look on the face of what I saw on the tom cat. It did in fact seem like what it was that he had just said to me was true. As it was that I did in fact let out a soft sigh of relief as it did in fact seem to be the case.
How ever, I quickly then did in fact get my mind off of that. As I then did in fact once again go and squint my eyes back at him. Just as soon as I then did in fact go and speak back to him.
"So... What exactly is it that your leader did? Why did she decide to run away from your clan?" I did in fact just seem to say to him. As it was that I did in fact have a serious look on my face just as it was the case.
It seemed like I couldn't trust any of the clans so far, all at once. As it was that I did in fact do my best to act as calm as I felt like I could. Just as soon as it was that the tom cat seemed to dip his head low to the ground.
We seemed to both stand there in silence for quite some time. Until it was that he then did in fact begin to go and speak back to me. As it was that I did in fact once again listen as to just what he had to say.
"It's... It's hard to explain... It's very difficult..." He said to me, all at the exact same time too. As it was that he did in fact have quite a bit of a dark look on his face as it was the case.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact been that sort of way. That was when it was that I then did in fact begin to squint my eyes. Just as it was that I had in fact done before.
It seemed like he had some thing to hide from me, none the less. As I did in fact not like that being the case what so ever. As I then did in fact shake my head at him, before I once again spoke back to him.
"Well... If this is why we are here... Than it seems like I've got plenty of time to waste..."
