Yezun opened his doe eyes. "Good morning to me!" He greeted himself, only to find out that Snow had stolen his blanket again.
He went out of the room after doing the morning chorus. Then he sighed seeing Snow, sleeping on the blanket in the living room. When Snow heard Yezun's footsteps, he woke up and jumped on him. Yezun sat down with Snow and gave him snacks.

"Do you think Wei has a boyfriend?" Snow didn't reply. Instead, he continued to enjoy his breakfast. But Yezun couldn't stop talking with his pet. Because that's the only way of pouring his heart out.
"He should have told me if he had one. I wish he would have one though. I don't want him to suffer like I do. But have you noted, Snow? He's been a little different since about 4 months ago; after he started doing nighttime work. I'm not suspecting him, Snow. I trust him. He'd never do anything wrong. But I feel like something is wrong. The thing is, it's not that I'm missing my mate. Sometimes, I feel like my heart is gonna explode from that pain. Sometimes, especially when Gege is here, I feel like my mate is here. But, I...I...is my mate...Wei?" Snow looked at him like he understood.

Yezun wanted to believe what his twin said. But he couldn't help to feel that there was a piece, that was missing. But he shook it off. "Oh! Ge, it's good that you came. I was going to make some cheesy pasta, your favourite. You get some sleep. I will call you when I'm done.

"Thanks, Didi!" Wei went inside the room and let himself fall on the bed. He cried. Again. Then fell asleep due to exhaustion.
"Ge, why did you lie to me? I never thought that you'd betray me like this. You not only hid my mate from me but also stole my love from me." "Listen, Zun ah. Come to me. I'll explain everything to you." But Yezun didn't stop. He put his last step backwards and...
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" As soon as Yezun fell off the cliff, he woke up screaming and sweating profusely.
Again a nightmare.
"Ge? You ok? Here, drink this." Wei took a sip from the glass of water. "I'm fine, Di. Can I...uh... hug you?" Without saying anything Yezun hugged him. He made themselves lie down on the bed. And started patting softly on Wei's back.
This happened numerous times, but Yezun didn't ask about what Wei was seeing to get scared this much. Yet he was confused about the reason that Wei was asking Yezun to hug him. Because normally, it is Wei who hugs him. But every time this happens, Yezun is the one who is asked to do that.
And there's another thing that Yezun didn't bring up to Wei. The scent which Yezun was feeling this time also. He knew this scent. It's his mate's. Any creature in the Drilora can identify their mates' scent. That is how they identify and find their mates. But they can only feel it if their mates are nearby them. So how could this happen?
Is it possible for Wei to be Yezun's mate?
