"Ahem" Cong Bo, who was there, was flushed too. But he managed to maintain his grumpy face.
"Uh...What brought you here?" Yunlan asked as Wei stood up. He hurried to get away from that awkward situation.
"Wait, Shen Wei!" Cong Bo turned to the alpha. "Pardon me, alpha. I'm sorry for interrupting you two. But, as I saw what's going on here, I think he also needs to hear what I brought."
Yunlan frowned. "If this is about him, we need to talk privately. Let's go." "Wait, alpha. I need to show you something first. Bring him here." Cong Bo's betas came holding someone dead. Just then, Yunlan remembered that Wei was there with them, too. So, he turned to look at him. "Wei- hey! Are you okay?" Wei was like he was stuck. He neither couldn't move nor talk. "Let's go inside. You two take care of the body. Come, Wei." Yunlan touched his hand but he didn't move. So, Zhao lifted Shen and signed the confused Cong Bo to follow him. They went inside Yunlan's room. Everyone on the way was looking at the merciless alpha who was carrying their chief cook in bridal style.
When they reached there, Cong Bo closed the door behind him. "Care to tell me what the hell is happening here, my king? He asked sarcastically. Cong Bo was Zhao Yunlan's friend. He was there with everything that Yunlan went through; yet was confused about how this happened behind his back. After making Wei sit on the bed, Yunlan gave him some water. Wei took a sip and leaned on Yunlan's shoulder. They were on the royal bed while Cong Bo was sitting on the couch nearby.
"This is my boyfriend, Bo. As everyone knows I hate the mate bond. When I saw Wei, I fell for him at first sight. Since then, we have been lovers."
"Okay, I can understand that. But what about that note? It is said that your mate is gonna make your boyfriend worried. And, I can see that it really made Shen Wei worried." Yunlan also felt that there was something odd. "Wei, can you tell us why are you like this?"
