Chapter 11

"Ah Lan! I can't, Ah Lan. It's been three months. Zunah hasn't contacted me since he left. He...he looked so broken, Ah Lan." Zhao Yunlan couldn't see his love sad. "Wei, he contacted me." "When? Why didn't you tell me?" "Yesterday. And I didn't because I didn't want you to be sad, Wei. I want to see you happy and cheery like you were before." And for that, he's ready even to lie to him.

"What did he say? Is he okay there?" "Yeah, love. He told me that he was doing fine there. And you know what? I think my cousin is getting interested in him. It's good news. Isn't it? I'm sure Yezun will be the same cute Didi of yours. He just needs some time to heal."

It was a relief for Wei that his twin was doing fine. He clearly remembers those pain-filled eyes.

Flashback

After Yunlan convinced Yezun, he made his mate lay down and left, asking him to sleep. But how could Yezun sleep? His heart was bleeding already after what he had heard from his cute mate. Nevertheless, he closed his eyes, trying to get some rest.

Just then, the door creaked open. When he looked at the door, he saw his reflection was looking back at him.

"How are you feeling now Didi?" "I'm fine, Ge." Even though he replied with a soft smile, it didn't reach his eyes. And Wei who was sitting on the bed by then, saw it. Shen Wei lowered his gaze. He couldn't look at his twin after giving this much pain to this innocent soul. He was feeling guilty. But what can he do? 

"I'm sorry, Didi!"

sigh   Yezun wanted to say something. But he couldn't find any words. Instead, his eyes were already wetting his pillow. "May I get some sleep if you don't mind? I need to depart early in the morning." 

Wei couldn't hold the pain anymore. He broke down instantly, crying hard hugging his brother's chest. Feeling messed in his mind, whether to hate or love his brother, Yezun also cried hard hugging Wei back. Like that, both twins fell asleep hugging each other without knowing what kind of a tragedy, the future holds.

Early morning, Yezun woke up alone in bed. He sat down and saw a chit lying on the nightstand. Yunlan had left it there, telling him to get ready when he woke up and come out. So, he washed himself, got ready and packed the things Yunlan had given him. It was so hard for Yezun that these painful events happened so quickly. But as you know, Yezun kept everything hidden in his heart. Causing the pain to burn his heart again and again!

Yezun came out and didn't find anyone. So, he went into Wei's room in the palace, only to see his mate kissing his twin brother passionately. Yunlan was holding Wei up in his arms and Wei was hugging Yunlan's waist with his legs. He didn't have the energy left in his body to react to this painful situation. His legs started shaking, threatening to collapse. He wanted to scream but he closed his mouth using his hand and left there.

But, little did he know that Yunlan and Wei saw him going from there at the last moment before he disappeared.

"Zunah, hold up a little more. You won't be seeing them like this from today on. You are going to be away from them, okay? And, you have your Snow to love you, right? Everything will be okay."

Yezun convinced himself holding his heart tightly without knowing that the other two were looking at him again.

"Ahem... Are you ready, Yezun" Yezun looked back but wasn't surprised. Instead, he looked at them with those broken doe eyes which don't deserve to be so. He gave them a grin, though. "I am, Cutie!" The angel said in his angelic, cheery voice. "Aren't we going yet? I'm so excited. Let's goooooow!" He held his mate's hand and dragged him out of the palace.
