Part ten - daylight

"So it seems like the babies are doing amazing, do y'all want to know the genders or not?" Grace said as they both sat there in shook. "Oh did you not know it was twins? Sorry." Grace said.

"Don't say sorry. We haven't had any checkups before this one so yeah. we just found out." Tim said as he looked at Lucy running his hand through her hair. "Well do you want to know the genders?" Grace asked excitedly since she was their friends.

"Yes" Lucy and Tim said at the same time. "Well it's one boy and one girl." Grace said as she watched their smiles grow bigger. Tim kissed Lucy on the forehead. They got ready to leave when Grace said. "So if you need anything just call me, anytime and for whatever. I will be here for you all the time" she said as she waved them goodbye.

Tim thanked Grace and they went back home. When they got back home Tim asked Lucy. "Hey babe are you hungry?" Lucy came up from behind and hugged Tim. "Do you know what I want?" Lucy asked with a flirting voice as she bit her lip. Tim turned around and picked her up.

"Really?" Tim asked as he placed Lucy on the counter. Lucy nodded and they started kissing. Tim grabbed her as$ as he picked her up again. Lucy started to take his shirt off as Tim pinned her to the wall and took her top off.

They took the rest of their clothes off, and it was all over the living room. He pushed her into the bedroom and onto the bed. Tim got on top of her and they did ykyk for about 4 hours until they were both out of breath. Lucy laid down on Tim's chest and Tim had a hand on Lucy's belly.

"Hey i have been thinking" Lucy suddenly said. "Thinking about what?" Tim asked confused. "I have been thinking on what about we go back to work. I mean just a little a few days a week maybe. But just get back in the game before we have to leave for the baby again." Lucy said as she sat up and Tim did the same.

"Really you think you are ready for that?" He said worried. "Yeah I mean I could stay with you at all times, and only like 3 days a week to start off with. And if we get back now I will be used to all the people by the time we have our real and big wedding." She said happy hoping he would like the thought.

"I love the idea, we can go in and talk to Grey tomorrow but you will have to be with me at all times. If we are on patrol or if we are just at the station I want you to stick with me okay?" Lucy just nodded and hugged him tight. "What was that you said about a real and big wedding?" Tim asked excitedly.

"Well we kind of just signed the papers and didn't have a wedding. And we did it while i was in a really bad place, so after the baby is born I want to have a big wedding with all our friends. You like that idea?" She said as she looked him deep into his eyes. "You know what, I love that idea." He said while he picked Lucy up and put her on his lap.

"You know that means you have to actually propose right?" Lucy asked hopeful. "Yeah I will see what I can do about that" he laughed. They laid back down and fell asleep.
Fast forward to Lucy being 8,5month pregnant. This was the last day for Tim and Lucy being on work since they are going on leave for the baby.

They got changed for the last time in a while out of uniform. Tim rushed and got out first and was getting everything ready. 5 min later Lucy came out but no one was there. She saw that all of the curtains were closed in the roll call room so she went there. She walked in and everyone was in there.

She walked down the middle looking for Tim really confused. When she got to the front Tim walked in. Everyone made a half circle around them and Lucy was still confused and really pregnant. "What are you doing Tim?" Lucy asked really confused. "Lucy Chen since the day I met you, you have been...." Tim started but got interrupted when Lucy broke down in tears right in front of him.
