Chapter 4: Another's Meeting

As I walked in was leaning against a wall shield and sword by my side while my arms were crossed. Let's see what they want with me, it must be about my strength, due to me being in this hell for TWO DAYS.Carmilla starts to mutter slurs in Spanish while also pouring herself a drink. She raised her glass and then instead chugged the bottle she originally pours her drink from. That seems counterintuitive. 

Zestial then walks forward looking concerned for Carmilla, "Carmilla, what troubles thou? Losing thy composure is unlike thee." "*sigh* it's nothing Zestial. Really." Carmilla says sounding stressed. Zestial presses on the matter, "the felled angel... 'twas by thy hand, was it not?" 

Carmilla immediately shut him down, "Let's not talk about it." But one of her daughters spoke, "Mom... maybe they should know." The black demoness says, "Nobody should know. I did what I had to do. I am not discussing this." Carmilla says putting her hand on her face. 

So did Zestial want me to witness this, or is their something else, cause this is really pointless to me, if she did slay the angel, good for her, this has nothing to do with me. "what weighs on your soul old friend?" Zestial beings to sing, and now were singing. 

 "What ever it takes." Carmilla finishes holding her daughters close. As nice as that was it still WHY AM I HERE. Carmilla then lets go of her daughters as they sit down. 

"So Alexander, I have to ask you a favor." Carmilla says. Now I was interested as I raised my head to face her, oh another favor from an overlord. "I don't want you to get involved with the V's in their plan to attack the angels, I don't want to take risks, but I have to be sure that you won't join them in their schemes." Carmilla says. Oh that's it, hmmm fair enough. I grab my sword and shield and sheave them onto my back, and walk up to Carmilla. 

"... Thy favor is accepted, I will not join in their plans for assault on the angels, especially what that Vel one said. So thy should not worry much." I say, Suddenly I felt a vibrating feeling in my pocket which made me take on a fighting stance. 

"... What in thee hell." I say, "If thy may, thy shouldn't be alarm, it just a device to contact us. Thy snuck it in when though wasn't looking." Zestial says. I again re-sheave my weapons and go into my pocket to grab the "phone". I don't like this.

I looked like a infant trying something new for the first time. "let me help you with that." Carmilla offered, "Thy guess this counts as thy favor you owe me, and don't try to say other, believe me you don't want to stack favors against yourself." I say, "I don't really care to much about that." Carmilla says, she then shows me everything about the phone, and they also try to familiarize me with other devices.  

I still don't like this, its not what my kind is use to, this technology I don't like it. As I was about to head out, Carmilla stops me. "One more thing, another favor, could you keep the Angel thing here between us." Carmilla asks, "... thy not have to worry, if thy not want their power shown, then thy will not say. Thy favor is on the house." I say leaving the entrance, also I should grab the egg creature. 

I then open the door and slide the egg boi out with me, unnoticed to Zestial or Carmilla. I then head to the elevator and push the bottom floor. "... thy don't speak to often, but thy suggest you keep what you saw in thyn meeting to us and Alastor." I say, "You got edge lord." Frank says, god fucking damnit. 

Once we reach the bottom floor, Alastor and the other egg bois were waiting. "So what did you here." Alastor asks Frank. Frank looks at me first, I nod he tells Alastor what happened in the meeting. "Interesting, Let's keep this between us, I'm already sure Alexander said that already." Alastor says with a smile, Frank then salutes planning on keeping his mouth shut.

 I need to stop giving out the free favor pass, but there not asking real favors, like 'kill this guy' or 'I need you to steal this' its all just, 'please don't do this' or 'Attend this meeting' I mean I did enjoy the meeting it was entertaining. Suddenly my phone started to vibrate, what th- oh yeah still don't like it. I pulled it out to see who was calling me. It was a random number, but I answered it still.

"..." I remained silent when I put the phone towards my helmet. "Hey Alex, Its Blitzø I saw your little note, but I must say I fucking wish you didn't leave because, the entire time you were gone, we had a client come in. yeah and at the same time Moxxie started a fucking fire in the office, and dumped my god damn eels. So yeah you mist your first assassination, but don't worry, there will always be more down the road. Anyways, I'm on the road do you need me to pick you up. Blitzø says, I want to kill myself, wait how did he get my contact info. 

"... Thy see, well thy could use a ride." I say, "alright, just tell me where your at and ill come by." Blitzø says, I then ask Alastor where were at, and then repeat it to Blitzø, "I'll be there in 5, see you soon." Blitzø says before hanging up the phone. "... Go ahead and tell the other at the hotel, thy have my other job to do." I say to Alastor, he nods with his smile and leaves with the egg bois. I guess I just wait here until Blitzø shows up. 

 After about 10 minutes a van with IMP logo on it pulls up, "sorry traffic was shit." Blitzø says opening up the door for me. "..." I say nothing as I enter in. The second I get in her then turn the radio on with heavy music. Interesting. Blitzø tried to sing along with the lyrics but failed miserably. Eventually we arrived at the building. At the front office was Loona on phone, "hey Loony were back." Bltizø says, Loona says nothing but looks up from her phone for a second, before going back to whatever she was doing.

After that we walked into the staff room and so Moxxie and Millie talking while drinking... something. "So what your opinion on Alexander?" Millie asks, Moxxie, "well he seems strong, but very edgy, I know I probably should say that, but it's the truth." Moxxie answers. Oh lovely. I cleared my throat. "he's behind me isn't he." Moxxie says, Millie slowly nods her head, while Moxxie slowly turns to see me standing behind him arms crossed. 

"heeeeeyyyyyy, I didn't mean anything I said, uhhhh you see it was all just a big joke." Moxxie says chuckling at the end. I really don't care if they insult me or not. I rolled my eyes, and just walked away sitting in the waiting room of the IMP area. Maybe this time I can see the overworld, maybe I can finally see my fellow BPs. I watch as Blitzø enters his office. I guess I'm stuck here until something happens.
