"A Baby!?"

Chapter Fourteen

Yn pov

"Anything for you, Yn" I couldn't help but repeat that voice in my head a million times over.
How the hell does one make such a simple thing so Romantic.
This man is driving me crazy, in the best way possible.

"I wonder who's the reason behind that smile unni" Borah teases me as she gives me a slight nudge

Jk's girlfriend Borah joined us tonight. We're playing video games tonight.
It was Jk's turn to chose what to do.

I love having Borah over. She's so cute. And she adores Ha nuel.
She's heard about her before but today was the first time she met Ha nuel.

Needles to say she fell for her charm, like we did, even before she met our baby. "Our baby!? "

"Huh!? " V leans in, from the sofa. "What did you say Noona!? " Oh Lord. Did I say that out loud!?

"Guys..." Everyone looks at my direction putting a pause to the game.

"Should we adopt Ha-nuel!? " I see their eyes widen.

"Ok." Jin says Nonchalantly and smiles at me.
I couldn't help but smile back.

I feel a hand grab mine. When I look down I see it's Jin's hand.  I smile at his approval, not being able to look away from him.

Suga clears his throat and continues " We'll talk about this tomorrow " Seemed fair. It was getting late. "We'll sleep now"

We say good bye to Borah and head back to bed.

I lay down facing Jin from my bed.
When he abruptly stands up and pushes his bed closer to mine.

I startle but don't say anything.

"I'll push this bed a closer to you every night. Little by little. Hope that's ok! " I nod and smile.

After a few beats of silence jin finally asks " Are you sure about this!?. I mean, about us adopting Ha nuel. "

"Yes. I'd like us to raise her together. There are 8 of us and I bet our parents will be more than happy to help" Jin nods pondering " And It's not like her birth has been registered. So if we just register her under our name. It should be fine. We should have done this a lot earlier actually " RM had asked one of this high school classmate who was now a police officer. After a bit of digging they'd found absolutely nothing about her. I did feel quite weird to me

"It's a bit weird don't you think. How come no one has her birth registered. Usually it's done the moment their given birth at the hospital. Isn't it?"

"I know. I find it weird too. It's not like she fell from the face of heaven right in front of our house" I joke and Jin smiles.

Yn pov
The next afternoon.

"So... What has everyone decided!? " V asks curious

"To be fair... Let's all vote, a thumbs up for yes to officially registering Ha nuel as ours and thumbs down for no.
Even if one person says no. Then we don't . And we repeat this process till all of us say yes." I say sure of myself, confident of us.

"Ready! " J hope starts counting down "3... 2...1"

I shut my eyes at one and open it only after I hear the excited shrills.
I knew it. I look around to find everyones hands raised in thumbs up.
We are going to adopt Ha nuel.

"You guys do realize we can only register 2 of us as her parent right!? And Yn is one of them. So just 1 out the seven. And the rest of us  can be her guardians. " Suga crosses his arms and examines us.

"So who will be Ha nuel's legal father!? " Jk looks around to see 2 hands risen.

"Rock, paper, scissor!?" Jin asks the only other person who volunteered to be Ha nuel's dad.

"Hell yeah" J hope agrees.

After the 3 attempt of them putting out the same sign.
Finally, J hope puts out scissors and Jin puts out Paper...

"Damn it. Ok but she still has to call me appa. " Jin negotiates

"Of course" J hope and Jin shake their hands and come to a peaceful agreement.

"Me too" We hear a soft voice say.

"Suga!" Everyone exclaims and bursts into fits of laughter.

That night...

"Are you upset that you don't get to be Ha nuel's legal father?. " I ask Jin cautious, worried I'd wake Ha nuel up.

"Not really.
I will still be Her appa, even if it's not on paper .
I honestly don't care much about it.
I just wanted to have a kid under our name.
It's fine though"
I feel myself blushing after a very long time.

"Maybe we can have one, someday in the future" I say looking him straight into his eyes.

"What! " He screams and Ha nuel starts crying. We both rush up to Ha nuel.
Jin grabs her and rocks her while I try to calm her by swinging her favorite toy of a elephant by her. Taking care of a child is hard.

"Sorry! " He whispers to me.

"It's ok. " I smile at him and he smiles back at me.

The moment prolongs and I feel the world slow.

I love them both so much.

A week later...

It was saturday game night.
And we're also celebrating Ha nuel's official entry to our family.
That's the reason for the excessive amount of food on our table.

"I can't believe our parents 'stole' Ha nuel again." V pouts.

V's parents offered to take care of Ha nuel for the night.
Though we didn't really need anyone doing that. We can't say no to our parents.

"Look at the bright side. Atleast our house is clean" Yoongi points.
This week Ha nuel started playing with the load of toys we bought for her.
Playing in the sense, throwing it around.

"Shut up. You big softie" J hope pokes his elbow.

"Right..." Jin agrees "Who was the one who was wrapped up in their bed because of how much they missed Ha nuel" He laughs... we all follow and i notice how Suga turns pink.

" Hyung... " Suga whines and Jk, like always, imitates that.
And we laugh...

The quote "Home is not a place, it's people" makes sense to me now.
