Your hurtful words seep into my heart
Leaving it scarred
Like how a thorn pierces through skin
But all you do is grin
As if you're oblivious
Even though it's so obvious
You smile like it's nothing
But you don't know how much they sting
You keep doing it, hurting me all over again
So much that I'm no longer sane
And you have the audacity to blame me
The truth is out for everyone to see
Yet you still deny
I can't help but ask, why?
