You're like the dried flower between my book's pages
For the last time I saw you, it's been ages.

I don't know where you are
Whether it's near or far

But the memories of you always live in my heart
Reminiscing our talks is like throwing a dart

Somedays it falls on the sad ones
Somedays it reminds me of the funs

I don't know if I should think this is good or bad
You're nowhere in sight but glimpses of yours in my mind I've always had

Glimpes that bring pain
Because I know I won't see you again

Yet some I'm thankful for
And some that I abhor

But even if I was given a chance
I'd never give that chance a glance

I can never choose to not meet you
For you gave my dark life a hue

No matter the pain that came with our meet
I won't deny, the times we spent were very sweet

So every now and then
I grab a pen

And write words for you
Though I know you'll never have a clue

For you don't look out for me like I do
Maybe to you, I'm the flower between the book you threw.
