You're like the dried flower between my book's pages
For the last time I saw you, it's been ages.I don't know where you are
Whether it's near or farBut the memories of you always live in my heart
Reminiscing our talks is like throwing a dartSomedays it falls on the sad ones
Somedays it reminds me of the funsI don't know if I should think this is good or bad
You're nowhere in sight but glimpses of yours in my mind I've always hadGlimpes that bring pain
Because I know I won't see you againYet some I'm thankful for
And some that I abhorBut even if I was given a chance
I'd never give that chance a glanceI can never choose to not meet you
For you gave my dark life a hueNo matter the pain that came with our meet
I won't deny, the times we spent were very sweetSo every now and then
I grab a penAnd write words for you
Though I know you'll never have a clueFor you don't look out for me like I do
Maybe to you, I'm the flower between the book you threw.
