Jordan POV

As I stood behind the tent, I heard a woman's voice yelling out in frustration, growing louder and more agitated as she approached me. It was Evelyn, her long, flowing blonde locks swirling around her like a halo, drawing my attention to her piercing blue eyes that were wide with anger and frustration. Her expression was tense, mixed with fear, disbelief, and rage. She was dressed in a fashionable outfit, and her face was perfectly made up, highlighting her striking features that screamed fake Barbie. As she drew closer, she flung Colleen's classic black headband and fake mid-brown extensions at my feet, the objects landing with a soft thud. I couldn't help but stare at her, her beauty was undeniable, but the tension between us grew stronger by the second. I felt a knot form in my stomach as I realized she blamed me for Colleen's sudden disappearance. Her menacing expression made it clear that she was willing to confront me, and I could sense that something was boiling beneath the surface. As she neared me, I could hear her breathing heavily, and the muscles in her jaw flexed as she clenched her teeth. I braced myself for the worst.

"Watch your back wannabe. With that attitude, you might die next." Evelyn scowled before continuing to strut through the campsite towards the rest of the Supply group.

I let out a long, heavy sigh as I made my way towards the dark lake that lay serenely before me, its still waters reflecting the moonlight like a mirror. Sitting down by the water's edge, I buried my head in my hands, feeling the weight of my emotions wash over me in silent tears that trickled down my cheeks. Despite the chill of the night air sending shivers down my spine, I remained rooted in my spot, lost in my thoughts. As I sat there, consumed in my sorrow, a sudden warmth enveloped me, and I felt a familiar weight settle on my shoulders. Looking up, I saw a checked red jacket draped around me, a comforting presence that brought a sense of solace. Turning my head slightly, I caught sight of William's classic blonde hair, his arms wrapped protectively around me as if I were the very centre of his universe. Giving in to the comfort of his embrace, I leaned my head against his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat that seemed to echo in sync with my own. Opening his eyes just a fraction, I caught a glimpse of his mesmerizing hazel gaze before he closed them, his focus solely on me. With a gentle touch, he lifted me, and I instinctively wrapped my arms around his neck, seeking refuge in his strong arms. As he carried me back to my tent, setting me down on the soft sleeping bag, I sat up, resting my head on his shoulder, our eyes locking in a moment of unspoken connection. Feeling his pale hand cup my cheek tenderly, I felt a rush of emotions as he leaned in closer, his gentle breath on my face. Just as our lips were about to meet, the moment was shattered by Odette's piercing screams outside, followed by Omar's abrupt entrance, breaking the news to us.

"She's dead." Charlie sobbed while holding Odette's lifeless body close to him. My vision blurred and I quickly turned to quietly sob in William's arms. I soon heard someone yell "WHO'S CODY?"

Odette was the psychic. Wow, the murderer is on a roll! Better figure out who it is soon!-E

I swiftly turned to face Charlie, who had gently placed Odette down and stood up, towering over Melodie. She timidly put her fists up to her face and averted her gaze. "J-Just someone I used to know..." Melodie sobbed, her voice trembling with emotion. Charlie's expression turned to one of anger as he demanded to know the connection between this Cody individual and Odette.

"I-I lost h-him a while back a-and I remember how much it hurt losing the one you love..." Melodie's voice trailed off into a whisper, her words barely audible as tears streamed down her cheeks. The once cheerful girl broke under the weight of her emotions, collapsing into a pool of her own tears, her vulnerability laid bare for all to see.

Throughout the day, we grappled with the weight of indecision as we argued over who to vote out. The atmosphere was heavy with Charlie's persistent and desperate efforts to rally support for Odette, while Melodie's inconsolable grief over the loss of her friends resulted in much sympathy for her. Then, in a deeply emotional turn of events, Evelyn, still holding onto Colleen's classic black headband, stepped forward and made an offer to leave. Collapsing to her knees, she clutched the headband tightly, her tear-streaked face turned upward as she begged us amidst her sobs. "Please vote for me! I- I can't live without her..." Evelyn sobbed leaving us all certain of the tough decision that had to be made.

Upon receiving my voting paper, I carefully wrote the name E-V-E-L-Y-N, feeling conflicted about my decision. Looking around at the scene, I noticed Jamila, Lassi, and Joshua already submitting their votes, signalling the end of the voting process. Hastily, I joined them to add mine to the mix. After all the votes were cast, Charlie assumed the role of the announcer, taking charge of the counting process. With an air of confidence, he shuffled the votes in the box before reciting the results aloud. "Evelyn, Amani, Charlie, Evelyn, Evelyn, Evelyn, Melodie, Evelyn, Jordan, Evelyn, Evelyn. That's 7 votes for Evelyn, so she is out," he proclaimed. Evelyn's response was unexpected. Instead of displaying disappointment, she wore a beautiful smile, one that we hadn't seen in a long time. Without uttering a word, she rose from her seat and made her way towards the forest. Pausing momentarily, she turned and softly murmured "thank you" with a sense of joy, leaving us all speechless by her unexpected reaction to her departure.

Screams filled the air, and all we could do was sit and listen to Evelyn's unjust death.

Evelyn was the witch. It's amazing how you haven't voted out one of your own yet!
or is it...
