CHAPTER THIRTY EIGHT

"Wind blows"

A week has been passed since the two sleeping together. Eon Jin went to her chamber but she got surprised when it's already finished on its renovation but no one is informing her. She walk towards to the central hall to seek for the Queen Dowager.

"Your Royal Highness.... The Crown Princess is here and want to seek your Audience..." Ms. Choi said, the head Royal palace court lady. "Let her in..." The Queen Dowager said.

Eon Jin take on her knees and show her respect for the Queen Dowager. "Crown Princess... What can I do for you?" The Queen Dowager said. Eon Jin smile, "Your Royal Highness... I learned that my chamber was already finished on renovation. Can I go back to my chamber now, Your Royal Highness?" She said. The Queen Dowager look at her. "Can I now why?" She asked. "Because... The crown prince need some privacy time, Your Royal Highness..." Eon Jin said. The Queen Dowager raised her eyebrow. "Did he? I mean, did he told you about it?" The Queen Dowager said as she sip her tea. "Not really, Your Royal Highness..." She replied. "So, what's the problem on being with him with one room, Crown Princess? Tell me, You don't want to sleep with him?" The Queen Dowager said. "Aniyo!" Eon Jin immediately response as she cover her mouth. The Queen Dowager laugh and Eon Jin feel shy. "I mean.. I thought it's only for awhile..." Eon Jin said. The Queen Dowager smile. "Yes, it is... However, the Crown Prince requested that you will stay in his chamber for a lifetime..." She said. Eon Jin got shocked. The Queen Dowager smile and teased her. "Aigoo... It looks like you didn't know about it... So it must be the crown prince idea..." She said. Eon Jin face are now turning red and she smile unknowingly because of what the Queen Dowager told her.

"What? A concubine?" Tae Pyung said. The King discuss him about on having a concubine. "Yes, Crown Prince... The majority of them wants you to have a concubine." The King said. Tae Pyung frowned while listening to his father. "In my conclusion, it's also better to have a concubine-" The King said but Tae Pyung interrupt him. "Aniyo! I don't want to... I'm satisfied to my wife, the Crown Princess. I don't want to have a concubine and that's my decision." Tae Pyung said. "Crown Prince! Don't decide based on your emotion just like me. I admit that I also against to have a concubine... And look at me now, you're my only heir." The King said. "And your mother, the Queen... I'm giving so much pain because of the pressure to gave me many heirs... Did you get what I mean?" The King said. Tae Pyung clench his fist.

"Your Majesty.... I don't want to see my Princess hurt and in pain everytime that I need to go on another woman's chamber. I will gave her pain when it happen." Tae Pyung said. He was about to leave when The King speak.

"They will keep pressuring the Crown Princess to gave you an heir if you still rejecting to have a concubine, Crown Prince." The King said. "I also worried to the Crown Princess..." He added. Tae Pyung took a deep breath and turn around to face the King. "Abeonim... It's our problem and let me handle it... Just like you, I love my wife and I'll do anything to protect her." Tae Pyung said.

When he left, the King let out a deep sigh. "Like father, like son..." He whispered.

Tae Pyung frowned as he frustrated because of that. "Your Royal Highness..." Man bok said. "Are you okay?" He asked. Tae Pyung let out a deep sigh. "Where's the Crown Princess?" He asked. "She went outside from your quarters and I seen her on pavillion near the pond, Your Royal Highness..." Man Bok said. "Arasso... I think... I need to see her to brighten up my mood..." He said and walk towards to the pavilion.

Meanwhile, Eon Jin is playing gayageum. She plays classical songs, her soft hands gently hit the string. Wol Sook is smiling while listening to her. Under the Cherry blossoms tree, her beauty and the music is make Woo Sung to fall inlove harder to Eon Jin while watching her. He smile as he recall that in every birthday of him, Eon Jin is always playing gayageum for him.

Without noticing Woo Sung, Eon Jin continue playing gayageum. Wol Sook and the other royal court ladies are step outside from the pavilion when they saw Woo Sung.

"You're music is reminds me of our memories, Your Highness..." Woo Sung said. Eon Jin stop and look up, "Woo Sung Oppa.." Eon Jin smile as she greet her. Woo Sung smile, "Can I sit and listen to your music, Your Highness?" He said. Eon Jin smile widely, "Sure..." She said.

She continue playing while Woo Sung is looking at her with those wistful eyes.  His attention caught when he saw she's wearing a new necklace. "Your Highness... It seems that you have a new necklace.." He said. Eon Jin stop and touch her necklace. She smile and look at him. "Tae- I mean... The Crown Prince gave me this to me..." She said. Woo Sung smile faded, "Oh! That's why you didn't wear the necklace that I gave to you..." He said with a sad tone on his voice. Eon Jin look at him. "Oppa..." Eon Jin called. Woo Sung look at her eyes, "Are you really happy? Tell me... Your Highness .." He asked. Eon Jin nodded. "I am... I am very happy..." She said. "I want you also to be happy, Woo Sung oppa..." Eon Jin said. She pick the lavender necklace that Woo Sung gave her. It always in her pocket even Tae Pyung gave her a necklace to wear. She return it to Woo Sung. Woo Sung look at the necklace.

"You know, that you're my happiness, Your Highness..." Woo Sung said. "Your happiness meant a lot to me..." He added and now his eyes are now filled with tears. "I will be forever grateful to you, Oppa... But, it's time for you to find your own happiness because I already have mine.." She said.

Without them knowing, Tae Pyung is watching them from a far. He felt jealous as he clench his fist.

"Are you really happy with him?" Woo Sung said. Eon Jin frowned because this is the second time he asked it. Eon Jin stood up, "Oppa, I love him and I'm happy with him...I don't care if you don't believe me but that's what I feel. I'm happy whenever I'm with him." Eon Jin said. She was about to leave when Woo Sung grab her hands and she got startled.

"How about him? Is he really love you?" He asked. Eon Jin stop and look at him, "Yes, He is..." Eon Jin said. "If so, why he let you cried on your first night together as a couple? And why he wants Lady Sora to be his concubine?" He said. Eon Jin got shocked. "A concubine?" She said with her trembling voice. Eon Jin feel her knees are shaken. "Now, tell me... Is he really love you? If not, Im willing to take you away from him and from this place.... I don't want you to suffer forever..." Woo Sung said. Eon Jin's eyes are now filled with tears. "Your Highness.... Let's escape together..." Woo Sung added.

"Who told you that I will let her go?" Tae Pyung said. Eon Jin and Woo Sung look at him. He frowned when he saw Woo Sung holding her hands. "How dare you to touch my princess?" He said and gave him a death glared. He immediately pull Eon Jin and they are about to leave when Woo Sung speak. "Let her go, Your Royal Highness... If you still undecided to your feelings." Woo Sung said. Eon Jin look at to Tae Pyung. Tae Pyung look at her eyes and wipe her tears, "I love her... So no one can ever separate her from me..." He said and hold her hands tightly. "Hyung, I admit that I've been harsh to her before but now, I know what I truly feel... And that is I love this woman infront of me..." He said. He look at to Woo Sung and gave him a death glared. He pull Eon Jin gently and they're walk towards to where his quarter is.
