Ohshitohshitohshit.

Crowley bashed the wheel of the Bentley several time.

The Anti-Christ had just been delivered.
Which was the event that will kick-start the apocalypse.
Which meant the end of the Earth.
Which meant the War was coming.
Which meant he would have to fight Y/n.

And he couldn't fight Y/n. He could never hurt her. He loved her.

And what about the people that they'd met? Campbell and the other Y/n. The Doctor and the other other Y/n. Lance Corporal Shadwell and his army and the old lady downstairs and everyone.

"Call Y/n." He instructed his phone.

"Calling Angel." The device answered.

It rung for a minute before the call was declined.

"Hi, this is Y/n L/n, I am currently unable to answer, but if you leave a message I will be sure to get back to you."

There was a long beep.

"This isn't the time for your reading spree, Y/n, this is important. Call me back quickly."

When you didn't call back, as you usually would, the Bentley increased speed, headed straight for your flat.

He knocked once before bursting in. "Angel? Angel, where are you?!"

He removed his glasses and looked around, surprised to see a lack of decor, and a large amount of boxes.

You stepped in from your back room.

"Angel, listen, I've just been asked to--"

"Deliver the Anti-Christ?" You suggested. "Gabriel came to speak to me. Told me to finalise my affairs down here, let Aziraphale handle it."

"What? No! You can't do that!"

"I have to! We always knew it would end like this. You and me, opposite sides."

"Angel, you can't think that! I mean... we're on our own side!"

You scoffed. "What? The two of us, versus all of Heaven and Hell? That isn't how this works, love. It's not my jurisdiction, I can't."

"I--" He looked around desperately. "Angel."

You spun away. "Aziraphale should be arriving soon. He'll finish everything down here--"

"I don't want him, I want you! You and me together! Fuck Heaven, fuck Hell! Just be... an us!"

You turned back and stormed over to him. "Don't you think I want that too?! Don't you think after 400 years I've started to care about you?! I'd love to stay, to be with you forever, but that isn't how this happens! This isn't how this works! We don't get a choice!"

The two of you paused.

"What if we stop it." He said quietly.

"Pardon?"

"What if we stop it happening? Stop Armageddon, stop the War, stop everything."

You walked away from him. "That's ridiculous! How do you expect us to stop the world from ending?! It's written, it's the Great Plan!"

"Fuck the Great fucking Plan! I want to be with you! I love you!"

Neither of you spoke.
Neither of you breathed.
Neither of you moved.

Until he did.

Crowley took several large steps towards you, took your face in both hands and kissed you.
