It was an average day in Broadchurch for you and Alec.

Well, until the night time of course. Nothing interesting happened on Halloween during the day.

Ellie left early to take Tom and Fred trick-or-treating, as did many other officers, so you and Alec were the only ones on call.

The whole night there was only one phone call.

"Hello, Wessex Police Station?"

"Hi, Y/n, it's Paul."

"Hiya Paul. Is everything okay? Has something happened at the church?"

"Er, not quite. It's in the forest, actually. Off Potter's Lane?"

"Yeah, I know the place. What's happening, exactly?"

"These green lights. I think it might be a party or something. I heard a weird noise nearby too."

"What sort of noise?"

By now, Alec was leaning over in interest, mouthing things to you.

"I-I dunno how to describe it."

"Can you imitate it for us?"

"Uh..." He made a wheezing vworp-ing sound.

"Alright, we'll be there soon."

"Oh! And something else. Have you ever noticed that phone box?"

"What phone box?"

"It's a blue box, on the street on the other side of the graveyard wall. It says 'Police Public Call Box' on it."

"Uhh, no, I don't ever remember seeing that. Maybe we've just never noticed it before. But, yeah, Alec and I will go and check it out. Thanks for telling us."

"Yeah... Be careful, alright."

"It's alright, Paul, it'll just be some teenagers having a Halloween get together."

You rolled your eyes playfully, watching Crowley jumpscare another group of nine year olds.

"Proud of yourself, love?" You asked the demon, who was dressed up like a wolf.

"Yep!" They grinned, slipping their arm around your waist, under the red cloak you were wearing. They pulled down the hood and pressed a kiss to your neck.
