The company had settled down for the night near a cliff but not on the edge.
The horses were kept close so they coukd keep an eye on them.
There was a smal fire blazinto try and keep everyone warm.
Everyone was asleep apart from bilbo,fili,kili,gandalf and you.
You were sitting down on the grass staring at the stars, they were beautiful so bright that they lit the dark sky up.
A twig snapped and your head turned to look to see who it was.
It was bilbo, he was sneaking over to were his horse was, you stood up and followed him.
"hello there myrtle...shhh" he said as he secretly fed mrytle an apple "its our little secret" he whispered as the horse munched happily on the apple.
"You better watch that the other horsed dont notice that you have apples otherwise they will want one" you said smirking when bilbo turned around obvipsuly not expecting you to be there.
"Y/N what are you doing here?"" Bilbo said.
"I just came here to see my horse" you said walking over to were your horse was "he doesnt normally sleep at night"
"Oh right well goodnight Y/N" bilbo said as he walked back over to were he was supposed to be sleeping.
"Goodnight bilbo" you replied.
"Neigh" your horse silver gentley headbutted you softly you named him silver because had streaks of silver in his coat.
"I know how to make you sleep" you said before singing.

You finished singing as silever began to fall asleep but his head shot up because someone was behind you.
"What do you want?...thorin" you said turing round to face him.
"I thought i heard you singing" he replied his voice still as deep as ever.
"Well im sorry if my singing has disturbed you i was only singing to try and get silver to sleep" you said "now goodbye" you turned to walk away.
"Wait...!"
"What?" You sid as you turned round
"Your singing hasnt disturbed me i came here to listen to you" thorin said staring at you it was hard to tell what emotion he was feeling because his face never changed.
"Thorin...can i ask you something?" You said
"What?" He replied
"Why do you hate me?" You said staring straight into his eyes.
"I dont hate you" he replied before walking away.
You grabbed the sleeve of his jacket "if you dont hate me then...."
Thorin interupted you by saying "goodnight Y/N" he said before walking away.
You didnt know if that meant he would start talking to you or not but you knew now he didnt hate you.
Maybe he still had feelings for you...you knew it was clear that you had feelings for thorin...if only you knew what thorin was feeling.
