Your eyes fluttered open as the rest of the company began slowy waking up.

You stretched and started packing your things up and putting them into your bag,'its going to be a long day plus i'll have to keep my guard up seeing as fili might be planning a surprise attack or pranking me' you glanced over at the young prince only to see him talking to thorin.

Your heart skipped a beat he looked perfect as always how did he manage to capture your heart again.

Thorin felt like he was being watched so he glanced over at you, quickly you started talking to bofur.

Thorin glared at bofur he knew you ddnt have feelings for bodur but seeing you talk to him somehow made him jealous maybe it was because you were smiling and laughing, he loved the way you laughed it sounded like a bird song and the way you smiled it made a room light up.

"Lets head out now" thorin says adressing the company "we have a long day ahead"

Everyone put their stuff onto their horses and set out following thorin.

A few hours later a little house came into view it was a mess most of the walls were missing and their was ripped cloth hanging in over the side.

"A farmer and his wife used to live here" said gandalf "i thibk we should head north we can get help from the elves"

"They will not help us" thorin replied his tone icy.

"Save me from the stubborness of dwarves" gandalf replied "does your grudge run so deep that would not accept help from them"

Thorin didnt reply...

"Im going to seek the help of the only one who has any sense around here" gandalf said while walking towards his horse.

"And who would that be?" Said bilbo

"Myself mister baggins!" He replied before mounting his horse and heading off.

"Bofur hurry up were all starving" thorin replied tellinf the dwarf to make some stew.

30 minutes later.

A nice stew was bubbling on the stove as bofur began serving it up to everyone.

Fili and kili had been sent to look after the ponies.

"Go give these to the lads bilbo" bofur said while giving him two bowls "Y/N go with him" he said whilst looking over at you.

"Ok" was your reply as you followed bilbo to were fili and kili were.

Both boys were standing with their back facing you both as you finally found them "whats wrong?" You asked

"We were supposed to be looking after the ponies" kili said not even bothering to turn around

"Well you werent you, anways heres your stew" you said

"Wait how many ponies did we have?" You said counting in your head.

"16" fili replied

Now theres 14" kili replied

A bright light could be seen through the trees and voices could be heard.

Kili,fili,bilbo and yourself folllwed the bright light curious to see what it was.

Branches snapped and a huge troll came walking past them with mrytle and minty under his arms all of you hid away from his eyes.

"He's got mrytle and minty" bilbo whispered

"We have to help them" he said looking over at the horses

"Yes...you do" kili said looking at bilbo "you should get them its perfectly safe they will never see you" kili said

"Wait...your sending bilbo out?" You replied

"Well he is our burgular plus he's small and hobbits are light on their feet" kili replied

"If anything happens hoot once like a barn owl twice like a brown owl" fili said pushing bilbo out.

"Once like a barn twice like a..." bilbo said before turning round "are you...?" He stopped his sentence seeing as fili and kili had run back to the camp

You however had stayed with bilbo seeing a she didnt have a sword or even a dagger.

"Come on bilbo" you said

"Wait..." you stopped bilbo and handed him a small dagger so he could defend himself.

"Whats this?" He replied looking at you

"Its to defend your self with keep it" you replied "now come on we have to rescue the ponies"

You both silently walked towards were the horses were you both hoped nothing bad would happen and that you wouldnt be seen.
