The hooded man left as quickly as he came, and Ara stared at the golden key in her hands. She had to get out of here.

She had to go home.

Ara started investigating Felix's room, looking for a box with a keyhole. She'd searched everywhere without success, except for under the bed.

Ara crawled under the gap in the bed and found a box. She inserted the key into it and opened it. Inside was a case, and a carton full of those weird stones.

She was about to open it when she heard the door open.

She quickly hid herself under the bed and peered through the crack to see Felix walk in. He glanced at the broom, then looked around the room.

shit, why the hell am I hiding!?

Felix looked confused for a second, but then started laughing.

"Princess~" Felix smirked, walking around the room, "where are you hiding, baby?"

Ara's heart started beating faster as he knelt down and found her under the bed.

"Found you," he chuckled evily, pulling her out by the arm. Ara winced as he lifted her up in the air and pulled her to her feet, "what were you doing under there, darling?"

Ara panicked, "j-just cleaning..." she hid the key behind her back.

Felix pushed her against the wall and slammed his hand onto the wall next to her head. Ara flinched as he leaned in closer.

"I told you I hate lies," Felix whispered into her ear. Ara shivered as his eyes glowed, and felt her hand being pulled from behind her back.

Magic? Just like Enhypen? She tried to pull it away, but Felix didn't let her. His eyes burned with anger when he saw the key in her hand.

"Where did you get this from, dear?" He smiled at her, taking the key and placing it in his pocket, "who gave it to you?"

Ara couldn't speak. She didn't want to tell him about the hooded vampire, because he helped her when he didn't have to.

"N-no one did," Ara said, her lip trembling as she realised how close he was, "I j-just found it."

Felix scoffed, then dragged her over to the torture room and locked the door behind him.

Ara whimpered as he threw her onto the chair in the corner of the room. The metal chains clinked around her and secured her there.

"F-Felix I'm sorry," Ara stuttered.

"Shut up," he said, slapping her face. Ara tasted the blood in her mouth and froze with fear.

She felt the branding scar on her back pulsate painfully, as if to remind her what happened last time.

She knew it would be worse this time because she directly disobeyed him, unlike last time.

"Who gave you the key?" Felix asked her, lifting her head up by grabbing her hair.

"N-no one did," Ara said, fear rippling inside her stomach.

Felix slapped her again, harder this time. Ara's cheek was throbbing with pain, and she could feel blood dripping down her chin.

 He sighed, obviously frustrated.

"Look I'll give you five seconds," he said, picking up a knife, "if you tell me who gave it to you, I'll let it go just this once."

Ara couldn't speak.

She didn't want to tell him anything at all.

She wanted to leave this place, she didn't want to be here with him.

She missed her brother. She missed Hyunjin, Semi, and even her annoying parents.

She missed the old Felix, the Felix that made her heart flutter at a small compliment.

That Felix was gone.

She was homesick, and she wasn't going to tell him anything because the hooded vampire had gave her a small glow of hope, and she owed him for that.

"I-I don't know," she whispered, her breath shaking as she looked up at Felix.

He smiled at her coldly, then sliced the surface of the skin on her leg open.

He did it again, and again, leaving lots of cuts all over her, her arms, legs, and even through her clothes and onto her body.

Ara bit her lip to stop herself from screaming as he stabbed the knife into her wrist.

She felt the blood rushing out of the wounds, and the pain was unbearable- but she didn't scream, because she didn't want to give him the satisfaction of it.

"Why aren't you begging for your life?" Felix asked, pulling the knife out of her wrist, "by now you'd be in tears and apologising to me."

Ara bit her cheeks to stop herself from talking.

Felix glared at her, then knelt down to look at her face, "what changed, I wonder?"

"... you did."

"What?"

Ara took a deep breath before continuing, "you've changed, Felix. You used to be different. You told me you wouldn't hurt me... you lied to me. I trusted you.We all trusted you. Your friends trusted you. Minho trusted you! You've changed to the point that I don't recognise you!

you've changed so much you don't even remind me of the Felix I knew."
