The first thought that came to her mind was how on earth her brother knew about her crush?

Was she just too obvious? 

Maybe she should play dumb for now?

"So what if Felix is coming to the party?"

"Seriously?" Minho rolled his eyes at her as if she were stupid, "you make it damn obvious you like him. Also, you told me in your sleep."

Ara blushed, "I did?"

"Uh-huh," her brother stuck his tongue out at her, "You were like talking about how pretty his hair was, how dazzling his eyes were, and how his voice was so sexy—"

"— OKAY OKAY I GET IT, WILL YOU SHUT YOUR TRAP?!" She screamed embarrassed, and Minho smirked. 

"I won't tell if you pay me," he grinned, and Ara rolled her eyes. 

That wouldn't matter if he wasn't literally BEST FRIENDS with Felix. 

"How much?" She replied reluctantly. Such a jerk sometimes.

"I'm feeling nice today, so just 10,000 won," he smirked again. 

"JUST 10,000 WON? ARE YOU INSANE?"

"Guess I'll just tell him then~"

"Okay, OKAY, fine!" Ara dug through the boxes under her bed and shoved the money in his hands, "if you tell anyone, you're dead meat."

Minho strode out of the room with an accomplished grin on his face. 

Seething with rage Ara was about to throw a pillow at his head when her phone buzzed.

She picked it up and found a text from Hyunjin.

Jinnie the dummy 

Heyyy where ru the party starts in ten minutes!!!

Read 6:50pm

She rolled her eyes and texted him back saying she'd be there soon. 

She then ran down the stairs and out the front door, where her parents were already in the car with Minho.

"Ara, why are you here so late? You want to get to a party, you get there on time!" Her mom grumbled, looking back at her from the front seat. 

She tried not to roll her eyes again as she droned on and on about how being early would change her life at college and random as stuff that she couldn't care less about. 

"At least you're not wearing some lame outfit. Why do you always wear long skirts!?" Her dad grumbled, then began talking about how girls her age wore prettier things. 

Isn't this skirt short enough for you!?  Ara thought angrily, biting her lip and trying not to cry. 

Minho squeezed her hand when their parents weren't looking and shook his head disapprovingly at them. 

Ara managed to smile. Minho always cheered her up. 

They arrived right on time at Hyunjin's, and she was welcomed by disco lights and the smell of cake, followed by heavy music. 

She walked in with Minho, and suddenly the party went quiet. Everyone was staring at her.

"O.m.g. Who is she?"

"She's so f*cking hot..."

"Isn't that Kim Ara? She looks totally different without glasses."

Ara blushed, covering her face and following her brother to the buffet and subconsciously pouring herself a glass of hot chocolate.
