The breeze was cold, like the atmosphere that was created.
The wind blew against Augustus's back, for he's the one that created it, and now was sitting beside a river bank trying to clean what he could with the water in front of him, all alone, with no one to help.
Although his symptoms had died down thanks to the antivenom that Henry Moore magically summoned from his pockets the symptoms didn't all go away as his head was now pounding and he felt weak to the bone, as his strength withered away from carrying his roommate back home, where they were now safe in the safety of their own home.
Augustus Hunts had felt the effects of the venom rather quicker than he had expected back in the forest but not fast enough for him to hurry off with Henry's unconscious body straight after passing.
But he was able to track nearby animals that could have detected him due to his previous actions, like the Boar, despite being weak and the symptoms being quite relevant still Augustus was able to drag Henry Moore across the grass not far and towards a small spot behind a tree, which was a good enough hiding spot for the moment.
Augustus had to keep his eye out for animals of course but after ten to thirty minutes Augustus was up and carrying Henry Moore as he stumbled to his feet resulting in him now back to safety and washing off his wounds in the clean river before wrapping it with new cloth from an aid kit he found in the house.
Clearing his thoughts, he dragged his weak form to his feet and started to move on his own to Henry's hut.
With a twist of a knob, and a creak of the door Augustus stepped foot into Henry's house. Not a sound was made as Henry Moore was still resting to be expected, but one thing, one smell that caught Augustus's attention, not a pleasant one.
Although Augustus wasn't a cook he could swear he smelt meat burning.
He was quick to remember deer meat was cooking above the fireplace, Henry Moore had put it here before spotting Augustus failing to capture a wild Boar.
Augustus swiftly looked around for a cloth or kitchen mittens, and with little time to spare Augustus found a pair of mittens right on the kitchen bench, they were just plain brown.
Quickly Augustus headed back to the fireplace and carefully but quickly took the ends of the stick and pulled the meat out, as a whiff of burnt meat met Augustus's nostrils once again, but looking at the burnt food he was now holding It wasn't too burnt, but still a little that was noticeable to smell.
Augustus had noticed the meat when he got back with Henry but thought he would be back before it started burning, but he was obviously wrong, he didn't have the cooking skills to know how long it would need, and to make it harder he couldn't have known when Henry put it in, although he hadn't gathered the skills of cooking it was still disappointing to see he failed something yet again.
Walking away from the fireplace and away from his thoughts Augustus went over to the kitchen and put it on the kitchen chopping board, as new thoughts flooded his mind. What was he meant to do now with no knowledge of cooking?
A creak brought Augustus's attention to the doorway to the living room where the fireplace lay and onto someone peeking in. Henry Moore.
Henry Moore had just arisen as his eyes drooped that he rubbed to get a better look at Augustus now with burnt deer meat, and winching his nose once his smell senses came back. Although Henry Moore didn't seem pleased Augustus sighed in relief that someone could take over, assuming Henry Moore was up to it.
"Did you seriously burn it" Augustus was slightly surprised by Henry's response, not because of what he said but the fact he didn't have a hint of what had happened moments ago, at least that Augustus could pick anyway. It was like it didn't happen.
