Chapter 52: let it go

JENNIE'S POV

It is Graduation day.
After four years of studying and consuming massive amounts of food to
make my brain functioning to a normal level I am finally done.

Of course my brother and Jisoo is a big part because they both tirelessly typed my reports for the past 4 years.

Jisoo even bragged to Liam's irritation that she typed most of my reports and project. Those two are like children always bickering.

I swear Jisoo and Liam teared up a little when they saw the invitation.

"If you did not fucked up that report Liam her score should be 4.0 not 3.7"

"One time Jisoo Jesus Christ!" Jisoo glare at Liam

"Okay fine 3 times! But heck she still graduated with latin honors. I am so proud of you princess. Intelligence really runs in our family." Liam exclaimed

"Obviously that trait skipped your genes." Jisoo snidely replied.

Liam glared at Jisoo while Rosie giggled.

The professors told me to make a speech but I decline instead Jisoo will make a short speech even if she is not an alumini of NYU. Days before my graduation Jisoo asked me if I wanted to buy my graduation outfit but I opted out. Can you imagine me in a dress and heels?

In normal clothes I am already a walking disaster, now add heels to that equation. Without any effort I can singlehandedly ruin the graduation day of all my batchmates so yeah no heels and dresses for me.

I wear my favorite black jeans and a flowy off shoulder top and instead of wearing my converse I chose to wear my red flats. Jisoo is wearing one of her suits.

Goodluck to all the attendees they will not know what hit them when they see Jisoo. We arrive at the venue and many people are already inside the auditorium. As usual many gawk when we arrive. In my 4 years in NYU many students speculate my relationship with Jisoo but no one actually asks me about the gossip that is going around the campus.

Whenever Jisoo drives me to school there are few students walking around so no one really saw me with her but now and behold the speculations are all confirmed.

Jisoo's arm was slung on my shoulder. She is wearing her aviator glasses but I am sure she was glaring at all the people around us.

My invitation only allowed two people since Jisoo is the honoree so she doesn't need an invite. I invited Liam and Rosie.

We are separated by course so I am seated in the middle while Jisoo was seated on the stage. The ceremony started and it is time for Jisoo's speech.

Our speaker for today is the youngest owner of a billion dollar company. Her company became number 1 on the fortune 500 company. She became a cover of forbes magazine and she is also included in People's sexiest woman alive and most coveted Bachelor. She studied business, economics and law at Harvard and finish her Masters and PHD at Oxford please Welcome Miss. Kim jisoo !

When our director was introducing Jisoo I can see that my batchmates are in awe. I want to scream "That's my girlfriend!!" But I refrain from doing that.

"Dang! She is so beautiful! Did you know that apparently her Girlfriend studies at our School?"

The girls beside me murmur. They giggled like teenagers. I looked at them and said "Really?"

"I can't believe it either! I saw her once but I did not see her face since she is always looking down or surrounded by her guards. I mean giirrrll why does she need security? She's not that important."
