I am bored.
Bored out of my mind.
I've already watched all the Disney and animated films that is available.
Jisoo offered her laptop so that I can entertain myself by watching Youtube. I decline because I don't know how to use a laptop and heck what is youtube? I am living in the modern world, but I am still in primitive Era in terms of technology.
"Jisoo."
I call her because I know she is just in the dining area probably responding to all the e-mails that her associates send her. Even if she clears her schedule there still important matters that she needs to address.
"Yes? Do you need something Jennie?"
She peeks through the open door to my room. She is wearing a black polo shirt partnered with jeans and some loafers. This is the dressed down version of Jisoo according to her.
"Can we go outside? I need some fresh air."
"Sure. I'll just ask someone to fetch me a wheelchair."
Wheelchair? No way. I don't need it."No need for a wheelchair. I can walk, and this is an opportunity for me to stretch my limbs."
"Are you sure? We are on the fifth floor."
"I say I can walk Jisoo. I did not say 'hey let's not use the elevator, instead let's just use the stairwell' I am slow, but I am not insane."
"Knowing You Jennie. I will not be surprised if you want to jump from the 5th floor of this building. Your weirdness is beyond my comprehension."
"You steal my thunder mam. Actually, that is what I really want to suggest but I know it is too early for extreme sport and it might be illegal here in New York to jump at this hour."
Jisoo just rolls her eyes at me.
"I'll call the nurse. Just stay put."
She went out of my room and goes God knows where. Oh right she will go to the nurse. Am I dumb or what? Just as she says I wait for her on my bed like a good girl. After a few minutes I heard voices and I'm sure that Jisoo is with the nurse.
Nurse Mica greets me and tells me that she will shift my IV line to Heplock so that I can move easily without fear of dislodging my cannula.
After shifting my IV line I ask Jisoo to help me change my hospital gown to some regular clothes. If you are wondering if I avail my bed bath that Jisoo owe me the answer is no. I ask the nurse to securely wrap my dressing on my stomach with plastic so that I can take a bath without worrying about the water that might enter my suture.
Jisoo assist me in wearing a light blue off shoulder dress that was graciously provided by herself. At first, I decline accepting the clothes that she provided but she threatened me that I will have a salary cut if I will not accept it, so I accept the clothes.
After checking that I am good to go she wraps her arm around my waist to assist me in standing and walking. Frankly, I don't need it since it's the 3rd day of my admission, I already regained my strength, but I am letting her because we both enjoy or rather I enjoy it.
We went out of the room and I was surprised because this floor has only three rooms and in the middle of it all is a very posh nursing station. There are three nurses that are currently on duty and I only know Nurse Mica.
She is with two other male nurses that I've never seen before, maybe they are assigned to other patients. I waved at her as we passed by and she acknowledge me with a nod. The other nurses are smiling at me and I also smile back at them. I felt Jisoo arms slightly tighten on my waist. I look at her to question her action, but as usual her face is impassive.
The elevator is in front of the nurse station and I did not notice that Jisoo already call the car to reach our floor and was just surprise that the door opens. We enter the elevator and waited for it to descend on the ground floor. As we went out of the elevator I can see that people are staring at us specifically at Jisoo maybe because just like me they are intimidated and attracted to the woman beside me. I mean who could blame them?
