Bonus Chapter 7

JISOO POV

I hate monday.
No that's a lie. I hate all the days that I am away from Jennie.

Grey should have already finished her Master and PhD in 2 years but no She is deliberately delaying it to piss me off. At this age I am supposed to be twiddling my thumbs and canoodling with Jennie 24/7 not signing contracts and shit.

On my 5 spawns Grey was the most cunning and smart. She inherited Jennie's and I's brain.

Don't mistake her silence as being contrite. All my children with no
exception has a violent tendency. I will not be surprise if one or all of them will be featured in dateline in the future.
Just kidding.

I really hope not. I only set aside bail money for Gabriela and not all of
them.

Speaking of Gabriela I should set aside more money because my middle child, already spent half of her bail money.
Instead of a trust fund Gabriela has a Bail fund.

Gabriel is taking the middle child syndrome on a different level. I remember when she went to jail for the first time.

Flashback when Gabriela was 16

"Mam NYPD is on the line." Scott said.

"NYPD?"

Scott visibly gulped and nodded.

I lifted up my phone and answered the call
"Kim."

"Good morning mam this Captain Soriano speaking."

"Good morning how can I help you?"

"We have a Gabriela Knight Kim on hold in our precinct due to misdemeanor."

Fuck.

"Okay I'll go to the station thank you."

I grabbed my suit jacket and went out of my office. Scott already knows that If I walk out in the middle of the day it usually involves my family.

I forgot that I used my yellow Lamborghini aventador today. What a bad fucking timing.

I called the MIB and told them to follow me to the police station. Good thing that the traffic is light at this time. I arrive at the police station in no time.

My car immediately caught the attention of the officers standing outside the station.

I swiftly went out of my car and paid the parking meter. I buttoned my suit Jacket and went inside the station. Once I reach an officer I removed my aviator and said "I am here for Gabriela Kim."

"Are you the lawyer?" The officer asked.
We need a lawyer?

"No I am the mother."

The officer nodded and stood up.
"Right this way mam."

I follow him to one of the holding cells. I saw Gabriela sitting in the middle of the cell eating like she is in a middle of a park and not in jail.

Is that a slushie in her hand and a box of donuts on her lap? Gabriela looks up and grins when she sees me standing outside her cell.

"Hi mom! You want some?" Gabriela offered. I sigh and pray to God to give me strength.

A middle aged man approached me and offered his hand.

"I am Captain Soriano."

I shook his hand and said "Nice to meet you sir."

I release Captain Soriano's hand and ask him "What did my daughter do
captain?"

Surprisingly Captain Soriano chuckled.
"Your daughter here is very special. One of the highway patrol groups spotted
her in the middle of the highway adjusting all the barricades and traffic cones.

"My boys ask her what she doing and your daughter scolded the officer and
preach them on the dangers of misplacing the traffic cones."

"Your daughter points out various errors in our traffic system, she spouts some
traffic flow theory that I swear to God I only just heard for the first time.

Lastly she accidentally damaged 3 traffic cones."

Fuck?

I glance at Gabriela and see her polishing the last piece of donuts in her box of 12.

"I am sorry if my daughter disturbs the flow of traffic. Will this go on her record? She is 16 after all."

"No. We just need you to pay $750 for the damaged cones."

I silently thank God that I will only pay a fine.

I followed the captain to a makeshift counter and paid for the fine. I added
another thousand dollars for the inconvenience that my daughter has caused.

Before I went back to Gabriela I knocked on the captain's office.

"I am warning you in advance Captain Soriano but I don't think this will be the last time my Gabriela will visit your police station. Please be patient with her. My Gabriela has good intentions but she has a different way to show it."

Captain Soriano nodded in understanding.

"No problem Miss. Kim. You and your family are a great provider to our community and I know your daughter means well. I'll keep an eye on her."

"Thank you." I went out of the room and went back to Gabriela who was now eating hot Cheetos.

"Gabriela it's time to go."

Gabriela looks up and whines in protest "Why?"

I look up and sigh again. God if you hear this can you please explain to me what I did wrong in my past life to deserve this and finally are you really sure that Gabriela is my child and not Liam's?

End of Flashback

Anyway I thought Gabriela would go to jail at 14 but hey at least she held off
for 2 years.

My phone rings and I saw Jennie calling.

"Yes love?"

"Jisoo there is an emergency!"

I became immediately alert.

"Why what happened? Is everyone safe? Where are the MIB's?"

"We are all fine. I just called because our Pantry is empty!"

I immediately relax on my seat.
Wait. Empty?

"Love, the staff literally refilled our pantry 5 days ago."

"3 days ago Jisoo."

"Only 3 days ago? Then why is it empty?"
The other line is silent.

"We got hungry and we may or may not binge eat when we watch 2 movies this afternoon."

"I see. We will buy groceries tomo-"

I was cut off when all my children and wife spilled inside my office.

"No. Today Jisoo. We will buy groceries today." Jennie said firmly.

Today. Who said we will buy groceries tomorrow? Did I?

Our grocery allowance for a month is $5,000. That includes the fresh produce that we purchase from local farmers. It is a bit pricey but it helps those farmers to stay afloat.

That budget increases in times like this, when my children decide to buy groceries with us. My children don't buy toys they just buy food.

I stand up and kiss Jennie first then I hug and kiss my children's forehead after and in return they kiss my cheek.

By now Gray is 24, Parker is 20 who's in his final year in medicine Gabriela is 18 a wrecking havoc in college, Jamila is 16 in junior and Ella 14 also in high school.

I am not surprised that 5 SUV's are following us. I mean we buy tons of food. I swear I even thought I was feeding 20 children instead of 5. We arrive at whole foods and each of my children grab their own cart.

"We will meet at this spot after an hour. Okay?" All of my children nodded and started to disperse.

I accompany Jennie while my children have one MIB each accompanying
them.

My Jennie grabs anything and everything. I swear I think I already ate all the snacks that are available in the Market are good and bad.

After an hour I saw my children already waiting in line at the cashier. Poor woman. Judging from the full cart of all my children she'll scan the biggest purchase of her life.

When it is our turn I walk towards the cashier. One by one my children place their food on the conveyor belt properly. One after another the MIB's retrieve all the bags.

"That will be $3,258.75 cents." I gave her my card and she scanned it. I thank her and Jennie also profusely thanks her as if she saves her life.

Before we went out I saw the MIB hand the cashier a $500 tip for her hardwork. After I got settled on the car. Jennie pointed outside excitedly.

"Look!"

All of us look and there is a Mcfuckingdonalds.

"Yey!Mcdonalds!" All my children including Jennie cheered.
