Evelyn: "What?"

Pomfrey: "I'm sorry. But there's nothing we can do."

I just sit in silence. I can't tell my mom. I can't tell Scott. Or Stiles. Or anyone.

Evelyn: "Is there anyone who can help me?"
Pomfrey: "Professor Lupin also happens to be a werewolf. He can help you. Go after classes."

I nod. They wrap up my leg and I limp to my first class.

*Timeskip to Christmas. Alex doesn't know, and people think you and Lupin are doing a study on werewolves for school*

I'm going back to Beacon Hills and I am a bit scared because the full moon is during the break. That's going to be fun.

I'm already back home and on the way to the house. Stiles and Scott were already home and were waiting. We arrive home and soon everything feels fine.

It's almost Christmas, and I still don't know what to do. I had to go and grab some groceries for some stuff. But as I was walking, I felt someone watching me. I turn and see a guy watching me. He starts to walk up to me, and I turn and start speed walking. I don't need to be kidnapped. Nope! But next thing I know, the guy pins me to the side of a building and is sniffing me.

Evelyn: "Can I help you?"

Guy: "What are you?"

Evelyn: "Excuse me?"

Guy: "What are you? You don't smell like a normal human. You smell like the supernatural."

Evelyn: "What do you mean?"

Guy: "My name is Derek Hale. I'm a werewolf, and you smell like one too."

Evelyn: "Derek Hale? From the Hale Fire a few years ago?"

Derek: "Yeah. What are you?"

Evelyn: "I'm a werewolf."

Derek: "Show me your eyes. Werewolf eyes."

Evelyn: "I can't just turn them on. Only during the full moon. And I can't ever remember the full moons."

Derek: "What kind of werewolf are you?"
Evelyn: "A werewolf......? I don't know! I've done all my studying on werewolves at Hogwarts, and I can't find anything on controlling it."

Derek: "I know how you can control it. But we might need to visit my uncle."

Evelyn: "Can we hurry? I need to be home by five."

He nods and takes me to the hospital. He takes me to a half burned man, and says it's his uncle.

Derek: "This is Peter. He's an alpha and can turn you."

Peter bites me and I feel the change coming.

Evelyn: "Okay. Done. Now can I go?"

Derek: "Meet me in the woods on the full moon."

Evelyn: "Okay."

I continue throughout my day.

On the full moon, I sneak out and go to the woods. I feel it start taking a toll on me, and soon Derek comes out.

Derek: "Alright. I can show you how to control it. Look at me."

I know my eyes look different as I look at him.

Derek: "Okay. Now. Do you know what a triskelion looks like?"

I nod, feeling my teeth turn to fangs and my nails to claws.

Derek: "Great. Now. Picture one. Each swirl means something. Alpha, Beta, Omega. It shows that an Omega can become a Beta. A Beta can become an Alpha, an Alpha can be a Beta, and an Alpha can become an Omega. So repeat after me. 'Alpha, Beta, Omega.' Okay?"

I nod.

Evelyn: "Alpha, Beta, Omega."

Derek: "Say it with feeling until you feel in control."
I nod and do as he says. Soon, I feel the fangs and claws disappear and my eyes go back to normal.

Evelyn: "It worked!"

Derek: "Yeah. But here's the thing; if your emotions, like anger, get too out of hand, you can turn back. So you need to remember that mantra. And once you get the hang of it, you can unsheath your claws with a flick of your wrist and your eyes with just a blink."

I nod.

Evelyn: "Okay. And what about the full moon?"

Derek: "You can be normal. But it will be a bit harder to control. But you can."

I nod.

Derek: "Great. If you have any problems, you can contact me."

He disappears into the night and I go home and sleep.
