Dakari sat against Zoriana's head board watching her sleep. Zoriana has been keeping her distance from everyone. Her parents figured Dakari could make her feel a little better while they grieve together. However, he hasn't been able to get through to her. It's been a week since everything happened. They never expected to begin their February like this.
"I'm so sorry fat mama" Kari mumbled against her lips
"Kari go home with the twins I'm okay," she said with her eyes closed the four of them haven't been to school since the last day of January.
"I love you, imma be back if your parents call me. Gigi wanna see you they at the house planning the funeral," he said moving her hair out of her face
"I love you too pookie," she said with a small smile on her face
"Eat something for me today mama," he said before leaving her room
"She talked?" Rihanna asked standing at the end of the staircase
"A little, mama Riri iono what to do because all she does is push me away, the twins are tired of me, and my mom handling the funeral details with my Gigi everyone is okay, I'm doing better but she's still hurting," Kari said every time he thought about the way he reacted to Zoriana being pregnant he got mad at himself
"Everyone grieves differently, I don't know if she'll be better anytime soon, Mani wants to send her to a mental hospital because she hasn't been eating again but we argued about it and he left and went to work, so that's why I called you. I don't want to send my baby away but we can't give her the help she needs" Rihanna sighed
"Mama Riri don't do that, I'll try again," he said before going back upstairs to Zoriana's room
She wasn't in her bed so he went into her bathroom she sat in the empty tub with her nightgown on and a razor in her hand.
"Kamani we ain't doing that," he said making her drop the razor
"I wanna die too Kari this hurts," she said
"What can I do to fix it?" He asked holding her face up
"Nothing just leave," she said he sighed and went into her room to grab some clothes, her staying in the house was driving her crazy
"Comere," he said holding her pink juicy set in his hand
"Where are we going?" She asked while he helped her take off her nightgown he put her in last night
"I'm getting you outta here," he said being gentle while helping her get dressed
"Do your routine while I go tell your mom you coming with me" he said while she pouted
Kari quickly went downstairs to Rihanna who sat on the living room couch reading
"Mama Riri, she's dressed and up can she come over to my house for a while? You can come too" Damari shrugged
