Today is Prom, the teens were all over the place getting themselves together. Dakari had just left his barber and was headed to get his shoes from a shoe plug. Zoriana's parents planned a send-off for them and her glam team was on point. Rihanna's hairstylist did a three-sixty frontal updo on the girl and a makeup artist they found on Instagram gave her a light beat.
"Kari, why won't you FaceTime me?" Zoriana whined he didn't want to see her until they were about to leave, neither of them saw each other's outfits so everything was a surprise
"Cause I imma see you later baby, this car fye as hell tho, though I gotta get me this," he said Xavier rented the boy a white red eye srt charger for the week.
"This is not our wedding. I wanna see your braids handsome" she said making him smile, Dakari grew his hair out a bit so his mom could braid it for prom
"I'm finna pick up these shoes then imma come see you," he said
"Okay, you want me to hang up?" She asked
"Nah," he said
After the boy got his shoes, he headed home. Zoriana's parents went all out for their send-off. It was catered. They had a DJ and everything because, at the beginning of her senior year, she told them she wasn't going. Her parents appreciate the way Dakari got their daughter outta her shell.
"Mommy, can I please get this car for graduation?" Dakari pleaded
"Hell nah you need that truck, it's paid for and that car is too fast," Xavier said coming from the garage with a blunt in his hand
"Mommy and her husband I just wanna thank all for making this happen for me I love y'all," Dakari said hugging his mom
"You can stay out but be at church in the morning," Dashia said making the boy hug her tighter he wasn't coming home anyway but having permission made him feel better
"Zozo looks so pretty mommy, Mani said the food here and we can come over," Dalen said entering the house with Juju behind him
"How you seen her?" Dakari asked his brother
"Umm her let me in her room" Dalen shrugged grabbing his iPad from the table in the hall before going back outside
"Hi Mommy, hi Zay" Juju spoke following Dalen because he was tasked to walk him over here to relay a message to his parents
"Go get your suit stink," Dashia said to her son who texted his girlfriend because her phone went dead ending their call earlier
"Ma, did her flowers come? I ordered some real pink roses" the boy asked coming downstairs with his suit and shoe box
"Yes they're in the window, I love how you treat my daughter-in-law," she said grabbing the flowers before they locked up and walked to Zoriana's house
"Wassup pop, hey grandson" Dakari spoke to Kormani and Dennis after walking into the house
