Zoriana groaned getting up from her empty bed. It's Sunday and she usually goes to church, but Dakari had her at the mall all day yesterday so she's planning to sleep in. She went into her bathroom to pee and do her morning routine. After she finished Dakari came in her room with a plate of breakfast.
"Good morning Pooh, I cooked you a breakfast sandwich, we going to church so get up," Dakari said as she got back under her covers
"Five minutes" she whined he just set her plate on the dresser going in the closet to find her a dress, even though it's fall and November in Texas the weather still isn't cool in the evenings so he picked out a short green sweater dress her long chestnut ugg sweater and some matching ugg sandals.
Zoriana had all of the clothes Dakari left in her room at her parent's house so he looked through the closet and found a long-sleeved plaid polo button-down and some khaki polo shorts.
"Get up so we can get the day started I got a lot planned," he said shaking her awake
"Am I annoying you?" He asked as she sat up with a pout on her face
"Yes," she said getting up to grab the plate of food
"Don't eat my food then" Dakari laughed
"I am hungry," she said before biting into her sausage egg and cheese everything bagel
"I got plans for us today," he said while getting dressed
"Can we go to cheddars later too?" She asked as he looked over his outfit in the floor-length mirror
"That's cool we can cook breakfast in the morning together instead of dinner tonight" he shrugged
"Noo papa let's cook together tonight," she said finishing her food before putting on the outfit he laid out for her
"If I ask you to marry me what are you gonna say?" Dakari asked while putting his white air forces on when they went shopping yesterday he got a lot of stuff to leave over here
"Imma say yes. You've been acting weird Kari what are your plans for today?" She asked spraying her new perfume on
"Oh lord please let me focus on the service and not how good my girl smells," Dakari said as she laughed
"Stop being dramatic, what are your plans?" Zoriana asked
"To spend time with you because I leave at ten tomorrow morning," Dakari said making the girl sigh
"Don't remind me" she pouted
When the couple made it to church they found her parents in the overflow section and sat with them.
"Pops can I talk to you after church?" Dakari asked Kormani
"Yeah cause why I ain't know you were in the city? Y'all probably been playing house" Kormani said making the boy laugh
