He's In The Rain

Jeno has never felt this way before. Sure, he's had little itty bitty crushes before, but it's never been this bad. He had just met a certain pink haired boy about a month ago, and he already felt withdrawals from him as he spent a week without even seeing his face, or hearing his voice. It was even worse knowing he had a certain younger boy clinging to him at school, asking him nonstop questions about his newfound love life.

The long, lanky boy shook Jeno's arm as he grabbed onto it, basically whining.
"Hyung. Just tell me about him! I thought you liked him?"

Jeno rolled his eyes, tugging Jisung off of him and shoving him away a bit as they walked to Jeno's car to get ready to drive home.
"I do like him, that doesn't mean I have to tell you anything about him."

Jisung groaned, rubbing a hand over his face dramatically. Jeno sighed loudly, reaching into his pocket to grab at the keys that had sat there all day.
"If you had a crush, would you tell me about them?"

Jisung groaned again, kicking his foot against the ground to push a pebble bouncing along the concrete.
"That's different, I'm just a child."

Jeno stared at him.
"You're like, two years younger than me."

The younger boy threw his hands up in defeat, his eyes wide.
"I do not care! I want to know who is making you smile all day!"
He leaned forward to open the car door as Jeno unlocked it.

Jeno rolled into the drivers seat, pushing his keys into the ignition to start the car.
"I do not care either, I'm not telling you."

Jisung dropped his head against the head rest, groaning longingly and annoyingly, as if that would make Jeno change his mind. The older boy put the car in reverse to back out, putting his arm over Jisung's seat so he could see out the rear window.
"Tell me about Chenle then."

The younger boy turned his head so quickly he's sure he got whiplash, his eyes wide and his mouth gaping. Jeno tried not to smirk at the look on his face, Jisung rubbing a hand over his face again.
"What about him? I don't like him. He's my friend. Yeah, like, a brother-"
He cringed immediately, Jeno following the boys look.

Jeno tried not to laugh again, turning to drive now that he was pulled out.
"Wanna rephrase that?"
He turned to look at Jisung, the boys arms crossed and a pout on his lips.

The younger boy shook his head, looking out the window.
"Let's just stop talking."
Jeno let out a loud laugh, driving to drop Jisung off.

Tomorrow was finally the weekend, and Jeno had a day off so he could go spend it with Jaemin, them planning to garden together. He felt like the week had gone by too slowly, the last time he saw Jaemin feeling like about six months ago. Jeno felt stupid, like some clingy puppy. He messaged Jaemin everyday, asking the boy how he was or what he was doing; but it made him feel better when Jaemin would respond just a fast, maybe a little slower as he had to find buttons and use a voice to text mechanism and shit; as well as vice versa for reading Jeno's texts.

He had an outfit planned since days ago for this day, it laid out on his desk, the boy getting a glance at it everyday after school; butterflies filling his stomach at the thought of hanging out with the pink haired boy again. It took him forever to fall asleep that night, too excited for the next day, but it took him less than a second to jump out of bed once his alarm had set off; waking the boy up.

The ride to Jaemin's house seemed longer this time, him just wanting to be there already and watch the boy show him the ropes of how he gardens. He smiled a bit at the thought, using his hands to steer and roll up to the front of the boys house once again, his palms a bit clammy. At least he had been more excited than nervous this time, but some butterflies still fluttered around his stomach when he stepped out of his car.
