the village followed behind
the ravengaurd funeral line
rain fell in buckets at times, soaking all who came out
that sad rainy day .
my mother, the Queen, passed away in the evening
she was very sick for some time, but she was fighting until she could no longer fight
as strong as we all are, no matter how hard we fight, eventually we must die
my mother said , " No tears
she didn't want us crying over her grave she said she wanted you all to look forward never back.
thank you all
odessa stepped away from the ravengaurds tomb as her mother casket was moved slowly inside
Odessa smiled at the village people who came out on that rain-soaked day, but anyone could see the sadness behind her eyes.
Oscar, come let's head back before you get sick
people often think cemeteries are filled with nothing but death, I beg to differ
