when Dalila looks into her mother's eyes and begins questioning her mother, Dalila Rose is not a woman with patience to spare she had short fuse, often Delilah's mouth, and her curthe better of Delilah she
was young with a child's natural need for knowledge
Delilah was often on the wrong end of her mother's short fuse
and lash at her daughter she would never hurt her she yelled, and when she did, it would often end with tears and Dalila walking away from her daughter
one day, Delilah kept up with her asking questions about her family tree. Dalila didn't utter a word. Instead, she tossed an old journal in front of Delilah and left
before just abandoning her only child. Thankfully, she had plenty of family who were willing to love and care for her, unlike her own mother, who, for whatever reasons, simply left her cold.
they say we learn from our mistakes, so history never gets the chance to repeat itself.
I'd wish this history never happened. Unfortunately, I can never turn back the clock.
