fog and war

Odessa heard the screaming outside of her castle
she saw herself doing
something she thought
she'd never have to do.

Odessa slowly moved about her castle, checking even the most darkest corners
the cells were empty of the worst criminals her village had they were inside of the castle her situation became dangerous knowing who each of the men locked away were Odessa grabbed her weapons and began to head to the gaurds mansion she made sure not a soul would see her leave

as I opened the back doors, I was met with a stench and far off
screaming, I moved, ready to kill
a funny thought came to my mind as I stepped over bloody bodies they weren't my men
the thought that the
Rose coven thought a woman and their queen incapable of killing a soul they have underestimated the Ravensgaurd women.

the closer I move towards the entryway

the screaming became louder the clanging of swords sparks dancing off the edges
of both swords, the men continued their fight, and neither gave up. My guard needed help, so I provided him just that I had to be precise as I didn't want to hurt or kill my own man
as I released my poison tipped arrow, it flew from my bow with speed and precision hitting my enemy he fell instantly

to set as a dense fog began to move low over the village. All the people were in the grip of a war fighting. Some have already lost everything

the horrible screaming of young children screaming as their parents died in front of their eye's
