Author's POV,

Pathak Enterprises,

In the world of business, Pathak's empire stood tall like a majestic skyscraper. The building seemed to reach for the sky. It was a symbol of progress and success, a testament to the company's vision and ambition. It was a place where innovation thrived and dreams were turned into reality. A place where ideas came to life and where collaboration and creativity flourished.

It's sleek and modern design commanded attention. It's reflective glass windows were the most attractive part of the exterior, which would shimmer in the sunlight and reflect the city lights in the night, creating a dazzling spectacle that catches the eye of anyone passing by. The entrance itself was grand, adorned with elegant uplighting, giving it a touch of sophistication and elegance. The double glass doors opened into a spacious lobby. The lobby, bathed in a soft, ambient light, exuded a sense of tranquility and serenity. The walls were adorned with artwork and large, vibrant displays showcasing the company's achievements.

Founded by Amyardh's visionary grandfather, this conglomerate was now placed in the top companies of Asia in the business industry under Amyardh's leadership. The fact that set the Pathak's Empire apart was his unwavering belief in women empowerment. Within the company's walls, women flourished and thrived, their talents recognized and nurtured. He saw their brilliance, their dedication, and their ability to bring fresh perspectives to the table. And so, he created an environment where their voices were not only heard but celebrated. From the confident executives who strategized with precision, to the creative minds who breathed life into innovative ideas, and the hardworking employees who ensured smooth operations - the company thrived on the power of women. Not because of any bias or discrimination, but because CEO Amyardh understood that true success came from embracing the potential of everyone, regardless of their gender. His thoughts regarding women were completely different from his family. He strongly believed in feminism whereas his family believed that women should only be limited to the kitchen and housekeeping.

Amyardh, the inheritor of this legacy, was a boss whose presence commanded both fear and respect. Amyardh's ruthless nature in the business industry is legendary. He was known for his strategic mind and discipline in the industry. His decisions are swift, his actions precise, and his expectations sky-high. Tardiness is not tolerated, for time is a valuable currency that must be spent wisely. His employees dared not test his patience, for his wrath was as fierce as a lion defending its territory. No one would dare to offend him, as the consequences were known to be swift and severe. But amidst the fear, there was a profound respect for him among the employees. His unwavering dedication to the success of the company and his relentless pursuit of excellence inspired admiration in all who worked under him.

The members who were in the important positions of the company were all gathered in the boardroom for an emergency meeting. The boardroom exuded a sense of opulence, professionalism and sophistication. Soft, ambient lighting cast a gentle glow around the boardroom, adding an aura of elegance to the room. In the center of the boardroom, stood a magnificent mahogany table, its polished surface gleaming under the soft light. Its deep, reddish-brown hue exuded a sense of timeless beauty. Chairs were placed systematically around the table were the employees were seated. Each chair was carefully chosen for both comfort and style, upholstered in plush, dark leather that exuded luxury. Executives, managers, and shareholders occupied the chairs closest to the head of the table. The room was filled with the individuals who looked concerned, their expressions etched with worry. It was actually off-duty hours. But despite this, the dedicated employees remained present in the boardroom, fully aware of the urgency and gravity of the situation at hand.

As the rain poured outside, casting a gloomy atmosphere, the tension in the boardroom mounted. An emergency issue demanded immediate attention. But the focal point of the room, Amyardh, was notably absent. This was highly unusual, for he was known to be a man of his words, always punctual and reliable. For some reason, Amyardh was unusually late. They had been waiting for him for more than forty minutes. He was actually late because he was busy protecting a certain someone in the other scenario. He had encountered Ovie when he was on his way to the office. Currently, he was with the person who broke his brother's heart, the one who made his brother cry, the one who brought his brother on his knees, begging for her mercy, the one who made his brother madly fall in love with her and then left him heartlessly. He had all the reasons to be away from her. But still he was with her, helping her through her broken trust phase. The question was why? This was the question which he didn't have the answer to himself.
