26. taming emotions

Ovie was running with all her might while constantly looking back. her tears were falling continuously and her hairs and clothes were a mess from all the running.

she was sweating profusely, not because of running but because of fear. Fear of being assaulted once more she wanted to run away has possible but soon the goons who were chasing her caught up to her. they cornered her. she couldn't run away anymore. the path had ended....

There was cliff behind her. The goons surrounded her while laughing at her mockingly. Ovie began to please joing her hands and begged them they just dismissed her pleading. A goon who seemed to be the gang leader came forward. he looked so frightened. Shiver run down her spine has she looked at him fearfully along scare run down his left eye all the way to his chin which made him look more scary combined with his disgusting restful look in his eyes. he snatched her scraf. She cried out and crossed her arms across her chest to cover her cleavage has she kneeled down while sobbing.

she closed her eyes submitting to her faith at that moment she feel someone rubbing her palms she heard a familiar voice calling out for her. concern was evidence in that voice she felt warmth... And hope of being rescued from the demons her inner demons she opened her eyes. she looked around and saw that she was inside the familiar balls of the bedroom. the hotel bedroom where she had slept hours ago. Amyardh was sitting in front of her holding her hands and looking at her with concern tears kept her eyes it was just a nightmare he started rubbing her back.

To Soothe her. she leaned in and hugging him tightly. her face was pressed against his chest just has she listen to his heartbeat she was still crying her face had become red by now she is sniffed smelling his scent.

A hug comforts you like a home it makes the person feel more secure and loved a hug can convey the feelings with out the need for words. it shows the person that someone is there for them, which can be incredibly comforting. It create a scene of connection had belonging. they remind the person that they are not alone and that there are people who care about them a simple how hug can lift a person's mood and make them feel better.

But in ovie case it was contrary it made her more confusing. She long for this feeling but was also afraid of getting hurt.

A simple reassurance goes a long way especially to those who are victims to anxiety holding their hand when they are over thinking about themselves and telling them that they are fine. holding their hand to let them know that they are seen and the appreciated. giving them a hug after tough days so that they know that they have a comfort place to go to. A hug that feels like home but clams them down deep down of their waking storms a hug that gives room for understanding and sheds of all the anxious feelings some hugs give you relieve from the whole stress and frustration but was that kind of a piece was she getting that from him why. why is that she feel safe around him around his presence?

She clamed down a bit but then she suddenly remember there arguments. She distanced herself from him and assured him that she was fine.

After the argument he had been at the garden of the hotel he sat inside the pavilion without moving looking straight in front of him. he was lost deep in his thought several deep thoughts ran in his mind has he processed of the situation. he sat there till midnight it had got an chiller he rubbed his arms feeling the cold wind he sneezed. It was then that he realize that it had been hours since he sat there.

he checked his phone and looked at the time to find that it was already past midnight. he sighed and got up has he made his way back to the hotel has he passed ovie's room he couldn't stop himself he stood in front of her door. he unlocked her door has he already had the spare key to her room. he peaked into check in on her. He sighed in relief when he saw that she was sleeping peacefully. He tiptoed into her room. he pinched the bridge of is nose as he gaze fell on the untouched dinner on the table. he tucked her in neatly before he could go out the door he heard the faint sniffing in the pin drop of silent room. he turned around to look at her she was crying in her sleep while mumbling something incoherent.
