Chapter 2

"Death Boy."

"Shut up!" I nearly yelled. I was trying to get some work done on our project, but Will was doing nothing to help. Instead, he kept bugging me and rocking back and forth in his chair.

It was after school, and the two of us were supposed to be working. Will kept pestering me and despite me just yelling back at him, he would just grin and act as if he had not a care in the world.

"So, Nico. Tell me a bit about yourself," Will grinned. I glared over at him. Why the sudden change of mood?

"Why do you care?" I grumbled, scribbling down a few ideas on a scrap paper.

Will was about to answer when someone crashed through the door. What the hell? I thought no one would be here still. Classes had ended.

"Hey Will!" Jason called, walking over. Will turned towards his friend grinning.

"Hey," he replied. Jason sat down next to Will, giving him a high five along the way. His eyes finally landed on me, noticing me for the first time.

"What are you doing here with this loser?" Jason asked, looking back at Will, ignoring me (not that I cared. It was better then him yelling at me or something). Will shrugged.

"Just a school project. Nothing special." He explained. Jason nodded, easy to tell he didn't really care if it involved me.

"Football tryouts tomorrow? You joining?" He grinned. Will shook his head.

"You know I'm crap at that stuff. Is Percy?" Will asked, eyes flickering over to me for a second. At least he didn't forget my existence. I still hated him though.

"No," Jason said, shaking his head, "Still sticking to swimming. Got Frank though. Only problem is, he's too much of a softie, we'll see though once practice starts." Will nodded.

"I'm leaving," I said, grabbing my bag and the project. Jason ignored me, continuing to talk. Will waved, half paying attention.

"Bye Nico," he said. I rolled my eyes walking out of the classroom.

They were both idiots honestly. I didn't like them. They didn't like me. You think we would just avoid each other, but no. It's never that simple.

A/N: I forced myself to write this. It's short and a piece of crap. I don't know why but I had it all planned out then boom I just couldn't write. It's also hard writing personality changes like the whole time I'm like "but percy isn't like this. Jason is friend what are you doing." So. Hopefully if y'all can suffer through a few short crappy chapters like this i can actually write something good. (I mean over 600 reads with barely anything wow.)
