Cat kingdom

I could hear cats meowing, I thought I opened my eyes but I couldn't see anything until a man on a bed petting a white cat had appeared, he suddenly spoke.

"Say, is it true cats have nine lives? If so, would you mind sparing one for me?"

There was a creak that sounded like it came from a door, the cat quickly turned to look toward it. I could see a silhouette of another person walking towards them both, but then the creaking turned into what sounded like a train.

I opened my eyes, I felt a hand squeeze my shoulder before letting go.

"Are you awake my dear dog?" I heard that annoying voice as I saw him reach for a curtain pulling it open, revealing the bright sunlight.

I couldn't help but pinch by the sudden light, "Good morning chibi!"'

I looked up toward the voice when I realized I was laying on the bastards lap, "Huh!? Why the hell was I lying on top of you!?"

"Hmph, now now chibi, I was shocked as well! One moment you had collapsed and the next you had fallen asleep! Don't you think I deserve a sorry for making me worry so much?" From the way he said it I already knew this mummy was talking bullsh*t. Though I'm pretty sure I did suddenly collapse.

"Like hell I am!" But I don't remember being THAT tired, I thought I would be able to hold off more longer.

That's when I realized that we actually are on a train. I stood up to look outside the window, it was mostly just trees but behind them you could see quite a large pond.

"Oi Dazai, where are we going exactly?"

"Why our next destination for our honeymoon!" This is a quite sh*tty 'honeymoon', aside from meeting the dragons and Kouyou.

There was a small knock at the door of our cart, Dazai let them in.

It was.. something alright. I thought of multiple animals it reminded me of, "Pardon for the intrusion, but there is a messenger here to see you." It kind of reminded me of a reptile but with less scales and more meat.

"Bring them in," the guy nodded and left, "this is not a train for humans to travel in." I sat down when he finished talking, but when I did I saw something from the corner of my eye and when I looked down to see what it was, it was, "A cat?"

"Pleased to meet you, sir mage." Did that cat just talk!?

"Word sure does travel fast!"

"You know how it is, rumors spread a hundred miles a day in the car world." Okay, what the fvck is going on!?

"He speaks?" How does that happen?

"Quite surprising for a cat in their first or second life, but I happen to be on my seventh." He started climbing on top of me where I sat, "There would be something wrong with me if I couldn't."

"Seventh? Your- huh?" Like the nine lives thing people talk about?

"Eh? I'm surprised you don't know about this! Makes sense due to how small your brain is but cats have nine lives!"

Huh?

"The cat nine lives thing is true!?"

"Indeed. We cats become wiser with each passing life. We even use the concept of 'countries' and 'kings' too." How did this whole thing start!?

"Our King of Cats await you, sir mage. My message has been delivered."
