"The Arahabaki you can call a treasure, in that you create an unending supply of magic, sadly your body is too fragile to handle it, just taking a breath can have absorb relentlessly and generate magic." The pink girl started talking as she held me with a knife upon my neck.
"Nicely put, Teruko." The old guy spoke.
"Why of course, Sir!" Don't freaking scream in my ear!
"You're in a threatening situation yet he doesn't even lift a finger to help you, you are nearly a research subject for him to satiate his curiosity."
I didn't know what to think. I was too tired to deal with this, even if what he said was true that didn't mean trusting him was any better.
"Chuuya. He has no feelings. You can't expect human kindness from a monster. He bought you with cash, and tied you down with a collar, one with a tracking spell on it. You must have suffered." He walked closer as he started talking. It was infuriating to see how he squeezed the Ariel like it was nothing. Who was he to tell me who to go with! He barely met me!
I felt my neck getting a bit lighter as I saw the stone that was placed on the collar start to glide over to him, "Do not worry, we will free you." He cracked the stone. And who the fvck said I need freeing!
The Ariel was trying to get out of his grip. Dazai stood there in silence. The girl held me hostage. And this son of a b*tch had broken the stone. I pushed against her as hard as I could making her tip over as she left a thin but long scratch on my neck.
I ran towards this old man and pushed him as hard as I could and tried to open his hand to let go of the Ariel, but the sudden surprise of me running to him was enough to let her slip through his hand.
I ran towards her and knelt down to try and carefully hold her. "Are you okay!? Are you injured anywhere!?"
"Sir!" Oh shut the fvck up! No one cares about that old man!
I saw Kunikida and Tanizaki run to the island staying in front of me and the Ariel as they hissed at the dumbasses.
Fukuzawa was leading them, "This is our territory, alchemist. So I suggest you leave."
I turned toward the Ariel as she started rubbing her head, "Eh I should be fine right now, as long as I'm not touching iron.."
"What's wrong? I assumed you wanted to be set free." What's wrong? Don't tell me you thought that keeping me hostage and almost killing the Ariel is fine!?
I let out sigh, I just want to go back home, "Free from what exactly? If you're talking about Dazai then I doubt you'd understand, sure he's a freaky, suicidal, sick, weird, stupid, annoying, ass waste of bandages. But I know he won't let me die that easily, he knows far more than I do and everyone I've met so far seems to trust him, at some degree, and their far better than you. So until that bastard decides to let me go, I belong with him."
They stared at me shocked like I just spouted out the most ridiculous thing ever, and they might be right but I couldn't care less on what they thought.
The moment I stopped talking the ground started glowing, vines with thorns and dark, it looked like some of them were wrapped in bandages, thin sludge started surrounding me. They attacked the idiots, they didn't really put up a good fight.
"Have you forgotten who I am? I am the Demon Prodigy. A shadow living amongst you waiting to disappear and come back ready to kill you." The bastard finally came huh? Not gonna lie though that was kind of cringe.
He stood behind me with his hand lying between both my shoulder and face, his other hand had a cane I've seen lying about the house.
The vines had spread out like a sphere and disappeared in thin air, "Are you alright Chuuya?"
