V4: Slaughter Camp

The first trial

Lill's POV:
As we followed Monoderek and Monotrevor to the trial area, I pondered over the death. Will, the Ultimate Kindness. He was as his Ultimate suggested. Kind, caring, and gentle. He may have been tall and muscular, but her was very sweet and cowardly. He was one of the few willing to be kind to Fiore, despite how nervous she was around him. Whoever killed him will pay for it with their life.
We entered the trial area and saw podiums. Monoderek saw our confusion and told us that we had to got to the podium with our name engraved on it. I was in between Fiore and an empty podium with Will's portrait.
Monotrevor explained that even though Will died, he would still be at the trials by a portrait. I wondered if that would happen with everyone who died. Wait. No. It won't. We'll stop this game before anyone else dies. We have to. For Will.
"We should start off with what we know so far" -Ashley
I agreed and pulled out the fabrics, timer, and wire from my pocket before speaking.
"So far, we have purple fabric, blue fabric, a timer, a wire, and Jake, Fiore, and Dan's account. Those are-"
Before I could finish, Ashley spoke up.
"Actually Lill, Ellie and I both also have our accounts."
I look up in surprise and Ellie nods before also speaking up.
"Yeah. I'll tell mine when it's needed."
Ashley gave her a weird look before she fave her account.
"I saw Will and Dan arguing about something and Dan looked really angry."
I nodded before Fiore suddenly spoke up in a meek whisper.
"I was thinking it over and this couldn't have been done by a single person."
We all looked over at her and she backtracked, obviously unprepared for the attention.
"Basically, the table is metal and that means that the killer needed strong wires to support it. They needed an accomplice to get the wires, timer, and button and to distract people from what they are doing. You could claim that the killer probably didn't need an accomplice, but you would be wrong."
I paused and thought over what Fiore said before agreeing. I noticed that Ashley, Ellie, and Dan were also nodding. I wondered why but quickly pushed it to the back of my head. It doesn't matter. We have to focus on finding the killer.
"Well, we should focus on who had wire and timers right?" -Grett
I agreed and thought on who might have access to those. I looked around and my sight landed on one person.
"Dan? Did you have access to wires or the timers?"
   He looked up surprised and shocked. His eyes were wide, but before he could answer, Fiore spoke up.
"Dan wasn't the only one with access. I dabble in robotics, so I also had access to wires and timers. Tom and Ellie did too."
I looked at them for confirmation and they nodded. Ellie looked bored. Dan was wringing his hands and he looked nervous.
"Well, it's not like 𝓘 𝓱𝓪𝓭 𝓪𝓷𝔂 𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓸𝓷 𝓽𝓸 𝓴𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓦𝓲𝓵𝓵."
I slammed my hand onto my podium and yelling, scaring Fiore in the process.
"No! That's wrong! Remember Dan, Ashley saw you arguing with Will and looking angry. That argument may have been your reason to kill him"
Dan looked angry, but I ignored him because Fiore hugged my leg. She looked nervous. The yelling and me slamming my hand onto my podium must have scared her. I picked her up an held her on my hip before continuing.
"So far, we know that Jake, Nick, and Dan all had a fight with Will. Dan was messing with something in his pocket and Nick was doing something with a wire yesterday. Nick and Jake both told Will to die. There was blue fabric an purple fabric on the wire."
Fiore looked up at me and pat my pocket as if to remind me of something. I was going to ask her, but Grett interrupted.
"Ok? And? It's not like any of that really narrows it down. If anything, we have more trouble now. We have the dramatic bitch, the spoiled brat, and the annoying nerd as suspects? Then focus on them"
Jake glared at her and was about to speak up when Fiore again interrupted.
"Wait. How blue fabric? So, Nick was carrying wire, he fought with Will, and he wears blue? Couldn't he have killed Will then?"
That set Nick off.
"Listen you little brat. I would never kill anyone. Especially not some "kind" bumbling scaredycat."
I stroked Fiore's hair and whispered to her gently, trying to calm her down before I continued.
"Nick, Fiore does have a point. It does seem a but suspicious."
Fiore wriggled out of my arms and went back to her podium, but something seemed different. She seemed, I don't know, but not like her kind sweet self. She looked around at us before she rolled her eyes.
"Oh my god. You're all idiots!"
Everyone looked a her in shock. The Ultimate Sweetheart was calling us idiots? She continued, ignoring us.
"It's so obvious! Dan had access to wires and a motive. Nick had a motive too! More than just a stupid fight."
She pulled out a paper and read from it.
"Will, the Ultimate Kindness. He has "accidentally" pushed people in front of cars, he is incredibly manipulative, and he feels guilty over little things out of his control."
My eyes widen as I realize Nick got Will for the two truths and a lie. Fiore grins and notices our shock. She realizes what she did.
"Oh dear. I revealed myself? Oh well. I might as well reintroduce myself then. I'm Fiore and I'm the Ultimate Manipulator"
I gasped, shocked and betrayed by what she said. Fiore was so nice. How much of what she said was a lie? Fiore glares at us and she looks absolutely annoyed.
(I'm losing motivation, so I'm skipping ahead)
"Lill, you know I'm right. Nick is the killer. And you know what happened. So go ahead. Tell us"
I tensed, scared and shocked that she knew. How did she know? I gulp and look around before explaining what happened.
"The killer had a fight with Will and told him to die in a hole. Then he overheard Will fighting with Jake and Dan. He devised a plan that involved his accomplice, Dan. Dan gave him wires, the timer, and the button.
He got the trap set up and everything was fine. At least, it would have been had Fiore not revealed herself.
The one who killed the Ultimate Kindness was Nick, the Ultimate Heir."
Nick clenched his fists and started yelling at me. Fiore cut him off by saying we should just vote.
