Indie's POV:
*Saturday*
'Have you got many more boxes madam?' The removal man asked whilst hauling my boxes into the removal lorry. We had to hire a lorry as Owen's sports car wasn't big enough to fit all our things into.
'Erm, I've just got one more,' I smiled innocently at the man, we'd already been here over 20 minutes loading all my boxes into the lorry. Luckily I only had one more, it was Lola's box, filled will all her things. I had to beg Owen to allow me to bring Lola to Plymouth with me but in the end he gave in and said yes. I ran back into the house and up the stairs to get the final box out of my room. It looked so empty. Only my bed and dressers remained, everything else was packed and in the removal lorry. I checked my walk-in wardrobe and en-suite in case I'd left anything behind and picked up the cardboard box labeled 'Lola's things'. I took one last glance around my room before I shut the door and ran back downstairs. Even though I knew I was coming back here every now and again, it was still quite sad leaving my room.
'Let me carry that for you,' The removal man said as he took the heavy box from my hand. 'For such a small dog, she sure has a lot of stuff,' The man laughed as he placed the final box in the lorry.
'She sure does,' I laughed, he was right, Lola had almost as many things as me.
'Indie, are you ready? We're leaving in 5 minutes!' I heard Owen yell from the garage. He was sorting out a few things that he was taking in the car with him.
'I'm all done, I'm waiting for you!' I yelled back, a hint of annoyance in my voice. Dad was in the kitchen, sorting out some paper work for the new house. I still had no idea what the new house looked like, all I knew was it was in Plymouth. I hadn't spoken to Ali since she freaked out, so she had no idea I was moving. I hadn't spoken to Tom for a while either. I sat on the wooden bench next to the pond in the front garden. Owen seemed to be taking forever so I decided to text Tom.
Guess what?x
I wasn't expecting a quick reply seems as we hadn't spoken for a few days. I was wrong, with in minutes my phone buzzed. One new message from Tom Daley.
What?x
I'm moving house!:Dx
Just typing the words made me feel excited. No more being trapped in busy London.
Ohh, where too?x
I don't know exactly but somewhere in Plymouth!x
I felt like a little kid but I was so excited to move house. I was going to miss a few things about London; the shops being one of the main things but apart from that I was looking forward to going to Plymouth.
Oh my god! Seriously? I live in Plymouth!:Dx
I felt my heart start to race. I'd always wondered where Tom lived. I was going to ask him but I didn't want to come across as some sort of creep. A huge smile spread across my face, this made moving to Plymouth even more exciting. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Owen walking towards me. He was wearing joggers and a black hoodie and carrying a sports bag full of his training kit.
'Are you coming or have you changed your mind?' He came and sat next to me. He smelt strongly of Lynx.
'Do you really think I'd change my mind after spending ages loading that lorry?' I let out a little laugh. 'Of course I haven't changed my mind, I can't wait,'
'Good because we're leaving now,' He got back and walked towards his car. I checked my phone and realised I hadn't replied to Tom. I seem to be making a habit of this.
