It is only my silence that speaks.
It speaks, through doors that were never slammed,
through feet, never stomped.It speaks, through words, left unsaid,
through a river of tears which were never shed.It speaks, through my closed eyes,
safely hiding my anger and pain,
Until not a single spark remains,
and once again, a gentle smile graces my face.It is only my silence that speaks,
but silence is never heard.
