I smile catching Raven as she charges at me and lift her "Mama" she squeals hugging me.

"Hello my mini Alcina did you have a good day in classes?" I ask, she curls her nose sticking her tongue out.

Sitting her down she grabs my cloak look threw my pockets and pulls the doll out "What this mama?" she asks holding it up by the leg.

I hum "That's a voodoo doll for my collection" I say looking around she frowns looking at it "Not pretty" she says holding it out to me.

I hum pulling one from my suit "What about this one?" I ask showing her one made to look pretty, designed as a gothic princess.

She nods taking it "Why you collect that?" she asks looking at me.

Shrugging I take her hand walking to the room "I think they're interesting, it's like your nana and her collection of nick-nacks, or momma's weapons, even Aunt Bela and Aunt Dani have a collection of something it's just something we like and do to pass the time".

"Donna has dolls" she says glaring at me "Why not pretty dolls like Donna?"

I snort shaking my head "Because Donna makes her collection each one is uniquely hand made, she never makes the same one twice, mine are made by hand too just by people who practice voodoo".

I smile placing the new doll with the others in a chest and closing it, Raven nods satisfied with her questions "Go Nana" she says holding up the doll I gave her and running out.

I chuckle heading for the door when I pass out.

Waking up I groan rubbing my head and look around seeing I'm in the Lords meeting room and groan.

"You did not show up for the meeting" Mother Miranda hissed.

I groan at the loud clash of thunder that shakes the place "You dare be ungrateful and disrespectful, you need to..." I cut in "Remember from wince you came, I know the line" I mumble.

Feeling a hand smack my mouth, I tense not letting myself attack "Do not interrupt me, if I call a meeting you are expected to come".

I sigh tilting my head back "I'm sorry".

She grabs my face "You better have a good reason for not showing".

I look away not meeting her eyes "I couldn't face you" I say softly.

Her grip releases and she steps back looking lost "Why? You are loyal to me, to the Black God".

"Wings" I mumble.

"YOU IGNORE YOUR DUTIES BECAUSE OF WINGS?" she yells.

I groan pulling my hair "No because of your wings after that thing, I was disgusted with myself" I hiss glaring at her feet.

She sits by me and I scoot away slightly "Why disgusted?" She asks softly.

"I should have thought before I did that, I was trying to help and it was wrong to do that, I abused your trust" I whisper.

"Child it made things strange at first but I know you meant no disrespect nor was you abusing the trust I place in you, I could have lashed out or even told you no and you would have listened to that, I'm sure" she says.

I sigh shaking my head "I did not know I would have that reaction to it either, I've never allowed anyone to touch them, I've accidentally brushed up on things with them and it felt strange at times painful but, you are devoted to your mission and that means ensuring we are all at our best" she says.

She tilts my head up to look at her "It was a shock yes but we both know you were trying to heal me, if I'm to trust anyone with helping me care for my wings I will choose you, during it all you never once took advantage of it. I believe if you help again it will be more normal as we'll both know, and it will be less sensitive as they are healed up now".

I nod biting my lip "I don't want you mad at me or hating me" I whisper.

"I'm not, I feel much better I know Alcina has been giving you a hard time about it, keep in mind she has had some serious mother issues for many years, after her rebirth she had a sexual attraction to me and we had to address it but she does still have them".

I laugh a little shaking my head before she grabs my hair pulling my head back "Do not miss another meeting, I will let this one go as you are young and learning but it will not happen again".

I nod slightly "Yes ma'am".

"Well come now child we must return you to the castle" says taking me in her birds.

Standing at the entrance of the castle I look down to the village tugging my shirt "What's on your mind?"

I hum motioning out to the village "My very great grandparents are somewhere out there, I know nothing of them or where I came from".

She places her arm around my shoulders "You wish to know?"

I nod slightly "I'd like to know who I came from maybe see why I was given up, or at least know something of my history" I say frowning.

"While I was looking into Cloning I ran across something about DNA heritage testing to learn who your family is and where you came from I could test this for you".

I nod looking at her "I'd like to know".

"Very well but remember you're with your family now, you're Cassandra's mate, mother to Raven, sister to Sonya, you're also the youngest sister to the Lords and my youngest child" she says gently grabbing my chin making me look at her.
