Waking up the next morning I get up and rush to my room to get dressed, I walk to Cassandra's room and knock, the door swings open and she glares at me.

I instinctively turn my head away exposing my neck and give a small whine.

I feel her grab my arm pulling me inside slamming the door, she then pins me to the wall "Do not resist me ever again, you're mine" she hisses.

I stiffen and glare at her "You're a typical ego driven Alpha that uses others and tosses them away so all I have to do is wait, you'll tire of playing and kill me or toss me away for a new toy to play with" I snarl.

I grunt feeling her grab my throat growling.

a week later

I haven't been able to leave Cassandra's side at all except for that meeting with the Lords, but she was waiting for me at the door when I came back.

I woke up covered in sweat today and can't move because my heat kicked in, normally I would be allowed to stay in my room for it till it ends but, she won't agree to it and won't leave me alone in the room long.

Laying on the bed I whine turning over on my side seeing her "Please" I whine at her.

She rubs my stomach making me feel like I'm on fire where she touches "You're okay".

I whine seeing her toss a toy at me from a chest "There's more in the chest, you may use any of them you want" I gulp nodding as she moves away, smirking she grabs her clothes basket and dumps it over me "enjoy pet".

I huff yanking the clothes off my face as she leaves locking the door behind her.

After heat

With my heat over I grunt trying to push Cassandra's possessive hold off me, I feel her tighten her grip "Where do you think you're going?" She growls.

I sigh frustrated "Lady Cassandra, it's morning, I need to ready you for the day and I need the bathroom badly".

She lets go and I jump up quickly relieving myself then shower and dress, I rush out pulling out her dress and cloak for her before standing by the door with my head down.

She tilts my head up to look at her "I want you to work in the library today, fix the books back into order" I nod telling her I understand, and she puts a robe around me then kisses me roughly.

Watching her leave the room I rush to the library and quickly check every window making sure they're securely locked and start a fire to warm the room knowing Lady Daniela will come after breakfast.

Working on the books that just came in I hear the door open followed by a growl "Why are you in here?" Lady Daniela demands.

I turn and bow "Good morning Lady Daniela, I was told to work in here today I'll do my best not to disturb you".

She watches me looking unsure, biting my lip I pull a book and hold it out "I don't know if you've read this one before but it's a beautiful story, it's about a queen who was forced to marry a man her father's age, she falls in love with her stepdaughter who's four years younger then her and they have to fight to be together".

She looks at the book excitedly and yanks it from my hand, it's silent for a while just the turning of pages and me placing books, I feel her behind me as I go to move to the side she pulls me to look at her "why'd you protect me like you did? you could've let me die?"

Tilting my head I sigh "Can I tell you a story?"

Her eyes light up as she nods forgetting the question she asked, I pick up the books and move on "Once there was an Omega princess in a castle with two sisters an Alpha and Beta, they had a Mother who was a powerful Alpha that others feared, they where known as monsters because they had to kill others who try to harm them. One day a horrible Alpha man came and attacked them when they least expected it, he almost killed the alphas and beta but the omega was caught off guard he killed her, he almost killed her entire family, The Omega princess was pure of heart with an outlook on life that was too good for this world. Everyone felt the loss, her remaining family had a life sized statue of her made in her memory, at the unveiling the villagers came and left gifts, the family learned that the Omega princess would take food and medical supplies to every house in the village. She protected children from danger when she found them making sure they returned home to their families, with her gone the world became a darker, crueler place" I see her looking at me crying as I shrug "You remind me of the princess in that story I heard it a lot growing up".

She lunges at me and I tense up feeling her arms around me, her face presses to my neck, I carefully put my arms around her and rub her back till she stops crying.

She suddenly pulls away bouncing excitedly "We're friends?"

I smile nodding "I'd like that Lady Daniela".

Putting the last book up I stretch glancing around "Let's do something" I hear her squeal.

I shrug "Well, I was planning on going to the kitchens to bake since it's empty right now".

"I'll help" she screams.

I laugh and nod "Sure that sounds nice".

Walking to the kitchen I talk with Daniela about books as I explain a set I offered her, walking into the kitchen I smile at her "Wait so they have magic, use wands, and fight a guy and his group who want to kill anyone they call mud blood and enslave half bloods?"

Nodding as she thinks it over I start pulling out what I need to bake and turn the oven on as I mix the stuff answering more questions on books while I walk over to the blood jars "Lady Daniela could you help me, I can't tell what types these are, I want one that's sweet" I say knowing I can tell but wanting her to feel like she did something.

She skips over and checks them then hands me one "That one's sweet".

I smile as I grab a bottle of Raspberry syrup and carefully mix them while starting tea while my cake cools, tasting it I hum tilting my head "Lady Daniela, what do you think?" I asked holding out a spoon to her, she tasted it nodding happily.

Putting the icing on the cake I cut it up and get everything ready then cover the plate and look at Lady Daniela "Can you help me take these to your mother and sisters then, we can maybe have tea and talk about books more?"

She nods grabbing the sweets as I follow her out of the kitchen, stopping I tap the cook's door, she opens it glaring at me as I nod to the cake "There's a cake made for Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters for after dinner, I'm taking them some as a snack" she nods before slamming the door in my face.

I shake my head and move on not seeing Daniela glare at the door before joining me.
