Fossil fuels are used on a daily basis to produce energy, and even though it made our life easier, they release large amounts of carbon dioxide in the air. What should we do about it?
First of all, we can start using public transportation instead of our personal cars. By doing this, a smaller amount of gas would be released into the air while still lots of people would go where they need to.
Another useful suggestion would be to start using solar and wind based energy devices. As a result, fossil fuels wouldn't be needed in everyday use such as heating the house or producing electricity.
Finally, we can avoid using fossil fuels by reusing products that need it to be made. For example ,instead of plastic bags we could use a tote bag which is reusable and generally replacing plastic based products with reusable and recyclable ones. In this way, we wouldn't support the fossil fuel based products and we would also save money.
To put it all in a nutshell, we can reduce the use of fossil fuels by taking public transportation, by using energy based deviced and by replacing plastic with reusable stuff. Of course there are more we can do, but its important that were trying.
