Also! Thank you all so much for the ideas in the comments of the last chapter!! I've already started working on a HXH fanfic since there were so many comments about it and also have some ideas for two different fandoms— I won't be specifying those two since I'm not 100% sure I'll even write them yet.

A yawn leaves Y/n's lips as she lazily raises her hand in a half-hearted effort to cover her mouth, blinking away the small droplets of tears that had gathered with the action.
She watches as Todoroki freezes the chunks of rubble to prevent them from further collapsing— pausing as a loud 'BOOM' echoes throughout the hall.
Not a moment after, a deep rumbling makes the walls and floor tremble around them.
"...Bakugo?" Tokoyami observes, sparing a glance around the room which had stilled once again.
"We don't know when something else will collapse, what is he thinking?" Todoroki mutters, eyes narrowing slightly.
"The sound came from below." Y/n points out, tapping her foot on the ground once as if to emphasize her point.
"Floor B6... the lowest floor, huh?" A near silent sigh leaves Todoroki's lips as he turns to face the two. "Of course it'd be the most unstable place."
Before either of the other two could reply, dual-colored eyes widen, turning towards the gaping hole in the ceiling, "Bakugo was the one who resorted the emergency power... and this explosion on top of that..."
"Don't tell me he's continuing the rescue training under these conditions." Disbelief drips off of each word Todoroki says— as if he couldn't believe what he was saying himself.
"Fool." Y/n deadpans, sounding entirely unamused despite the tinges of surprise in her expression.
Not a moment later, the sound a rushing water floods through the walls, eventually being accompanied by the sound of deteriorating walls.
Turning her gaze behind her, E/C eyes widen as they land on the sight of flooding water leaking from the growing cracks in the wall.
"...Ugh." Y/n irks, visibly growing annoyed as she takes a step away from the puddles of water steadily nearing her.
"Tokoyami, break the floor with Dark Shadow." Todoroki orders, gaze flickering towards the water before focusing back on Tokoyami.
Tokoyami's face paints with reluctance, eyes widening, "But, I won't be able to control him in this darkness—"
"I'll hold him back with my flames." Todoroki interrupts him.
Tokoyami's hesitance to agree falters— closing his eyes briefly before giving a short nod, "Very well."
"Dark Shadow!" Tokoyami calls, the quirk immediately flying upward as its eyes flickering from their usual yellow to red.
Todoroki's hand ignites in flames as Dark Shadow's eyes fade back to normal— abiding by the orders given as it changes its direction— plummeting head-first towards the floor.
Just as Y/n loses her balance a solid— but notably colder —surface forms under her, glancing to see the pale blue ice of Todoroki creating a towering structure.
The ice spread all the way down to cover the ground of the floor below them— three blurs of orange, yellow, and red catching her eye as she blinks in surprise.
"This way." Todoroki calls, three sets of eyes turning towards them.
"L/N! Todoroki!" Kirishima and Denki recognize with bright grins split across their faces.
"Who asked for your help?!" Bakugo seethes behind them, waving his fist around as a threat.
Denki turns to him— saying something that Y/n didn't bother to try and listen floor as she huffs out a breath of annoyance.
She should've gone with Izuku.
