The more I was around Caius he would make me feel as if I've always known him. I was irrevocably and unconditionally in love with Caius Volturi. But it's wasn't until I was invited back into the watchtower that my life would forever change.
"Caius, what if they don't like me?" I tell him my worried thoughts about officially meeting his brothers as I nervously play with the fabric of my dress.
"Mi amore, my brothers have been wanting to meet you since you caught my eye the first time we met, you have nothing to fear from them and this is a special event we want you here" he told me has he grabbed the hand that was playing with my dress and gently kissed it before kissing my lips he dissolved any distress that I felt.
But once the carriage stoped we gently broke our lips away and Caius helped me out being careful not to trip over my dress and I look up to see the shadow of the tower as the sky is gray.
The walk into the building was quite and we reached the ball room doors they opened as two young adults, a girl with blonde hair and a boy with dark hair on both sides of the doors.
"Welcome back master Caius and welcome to our home Miss Swan" they say in unison as Caius and I walk more into the room but instead of the usual ballroom it stood three thrones and his two brothers sitting in two of the three thrones.
"Ah brother I see you've brought the young Ms.swan, Welcome to our home I am Aro and our other brother Marcus Volturi" Aro tells me as he gently takes my hand in his as Caius grips my waist from behind as I feel his head in the crook of my neck.
"I see you have been trying to uncover the secrets that my brothers and I have been hiding especially since that fateful day in the park and Caius has told us of your fascination with vampires and your gift of music, how extraordinary!" He exclaims as my heart in pounding as I finally notice the color of his eyes
Their Red. Their eyes are red like the books I've read. As I was about to turn around to face Caius I am pulled suddenly as I am no longer standing in the middle of the room but instead sitting on Caius's lap his hands still on my waist.
"But now that we know that you have suspected of our kind and Marcus as found out that you are Caius's mate we will have to turn you" Aro continues as I suddenly feel white pain as Caius sinks his teeth into my neck I scream as loud as I can before darkness covers me.
As I was in the darkness I saw my mother and I singing, Jaspers promise before we left for the war, my father taking my son away, meeting Caius. I dreamt of being with him forever and it turns out I actually will.
3 days later...
My heart stopped. As my last breath left my lungs my eyes open looking around the unknown room I see dust flying peacefully and see the brush detail from a painting across the room.
Finally hearing fast footsteps from behind the door I move in a unnaturally fast way as the door opens I see the familiar blonde haired man.
"Caius" was all I can muster up as he can only stare at me before gathering me in his arms holding me close. I inhale his scent of fresh paint and old books. Moving out of his arms he cups my face looking into my eyes as I do the same.
"Red as Ruby's your eyes are like gems mi amore and your beauty is incomparable to goddesses and we shall live until the end of time" he confesses.
My mind is rattled as memories flood within remembering how my father took my son from me minutes after he was born. How I had screamed to just hold him once as my mother held me down as she too mourned for her daughter as her husband rides away with their grandson.
As these memories hit me so pent up in anger and sadness I scream as loud as I can but in doing so I saw glass break the room shaking until I everything was in ruins and Caius was on the ground.
As he's distracted I couldn't think, I ran and ran as fast as I can until I could not control my thirst for blood and then it wasn't until then I looked around my surroundings I realized that I was in the city of London as I recognized the building in front of me as Buckingham Palace.
