THE CULLENS

After the shock wore off millions of questions fill my head as I once believed that my old lover was long dead rather than standing in front of me.

After over 100 years of being apart he's still as handsome as ever but noticing the entire class staring at us the teacher looks confused.

"Oh I wasn't aware that you knew each other how convenient, well jasper I'd like you to take a seat so I can continue teaching.

As Jasper walks closer and sits besides me we just stare at each other for a while before I decide to finally break the silence.

"Jasper...what happened to you? What happened in 1863?" I ask as his eyes go wide as he exhales a bit needed breath.

"Me? You're asking about me? Wha-what happened to you Addy? You-you still wear my mother's ring?" He asks as I notice his eyes shift towards my hand.

"I huh I was sent away after you left for the war, Ummm my father he figured that after what happened between us that I would have done better in Italy so I stayed there with my aunt"

I explain as he looks at me with pity in his eyes but I go on explaining my death and more.

"And one day I went to a place I shouldn't have and I woke up like this and escaped, a couple years later I met with a talent scout in the 60s and became "ADDY" and I'm retired for now"

"I'm currently staying with some long lost family the Swans, how about you what happened Jasper?" I asked as I suddenly looked down nervously.

"Ummm ok I uh I was changed while the war was going on and met a woman who I thought was my soulmate but was manipulating me then I soon met my WIFE Alice in the 40s got married and met the Cullens soon after and stayed with them ever since" he explained as he noticed how my smile faltered after hearing he was married now.

"Why don't you met my family I can introduce you to my brothers and my sister and if you have time I can introduce you to my adoptive parents Carlise and Esme?" he asks and I softly smile at him and nod as he soon does the same and we finish writing our notes before the bell rung for the next period.

Lunch break...

As the final class ended it was now lunch time meaning I'll have to eat food that with taste like dirt and throw it up later and have a blood bag.

I had found Bella with a group of teens that I've met earlier that day and decided to sit with them. As I put my tray down the attention soon shifted towards me.

"Hey guys, Hi Bella how was your day? Was your classes alright?" I ask slightly noticing how motherly I'm acting.

"I'm g-good these guys have b-been great" she says and I smile softly as someone soon jumps in flashing a camera in our faces making us blink a few times. After introducing herself as Angela and she's the school journalism photographer/reporter.

After the little argument between Her and Eric and the mindless talk between Angela and Jessica I notice a familiar blonde walk in with a group of 4.

"Who are they?" Bella asks as I look towards her then back at the couples walking in.

"The Cullens" Angela tells us as Jessica goes into more detail about the individuals. "They're Dr. and Mrs. Cullen's foster kids, they moved down here from Alaska like, a few years ago"

"They kind of keep to themselves" Angela says sort of side eyeing Jessica when she notices that Jessica is about to explain more."Yeah. 'cause they're all together. Like, together, together.

"The blond girl, that's Rosalie, and the big dark-haired guy, Emmett, they're, like, a thing. I'm not even sure that's legal" and I furrow my brows in her thought process but as I was about to say something Angela steps in.

"Jess, they're not actually related" "yeah, but they live together. It's weird" Jessica says and this time I gotta speak up.

"So it's weird for a couple to live together? So are you saying that a married couple shouldn't live in the same house? Uh now that's weird" I say and Jessica looks at me in bewildered and moves on.

"Anyways, oh, the little dark-haired girl's Alice. She's really weird. And she's with Jasper, the blond one who looks like he's in pain" she says as I see Jasper twirling Alice around then looks at me as I smile,I'm happy for him.

Watching the Cullens sit down Bella gets my attention as she asks a question. "Who's he?".

"That's Edward Cullen. Totally gorgeous, obviously, but apparently nobody here's good enough for him, like I care, you know?" She says as her sarcastic tone is totally not believable.

"Seriously, like don't waste your time"Jessica finishes as I notice Bella staring intently at Edward as he does the same but more intense.

As I'm about to "eat" some chips I hear Jaspers voice from across the cafeteria "hey Addy come join us" he says and I look towards Bella to see if she would be ok with me leaving her with the others.

"Go ahead, I'm good here" she says with a soft smile and I do the same as I gather my things to head for the Cullens table.

As I got to the table I notice the tense atmosphere as Edward and Rosalie stares at me as if I'm about to attack.

"You must be Addy Swan, I'm Alice, Jasper has told me so much about you!" Alice explained as she goes in for a hug that I nervously accepted.

"Yeah it was a real surprise to see Jasper again after all these years but the past is the past and I've moved on and so has he, I'm glad he's found his mate" I say and Alice's face softens at that and hugs me again.

"So we are all going to ditch the rest of the day so that we can all have a family discussion on your arrival would you like to join us?" Edward asks me as I nod and tell them That I'll be there.

As the lunch bell rings I tell Bella that some work came up and to tell Charlie that I'll be home later tonight and that a I'll be having my dinner later.

The Cullen Residence...

Driving up to the abstract glass house with the other Vampires I follow them inside only to be met with Dr.Cullen and his wife.

"Hello, you must be Adelaide Swan, I'm Carlisle and this is my wife Esme, we are so happy to met you" he introduces himself as he reaches his hand out for me to shake and I take it.

"Thank you for Welcoming me here, umm while I have you all here I've already told Jasper my story I'm just here because I've found some long lost family" I tell them as the Cullens all gather around the living room.

"I don't mean to intrude on your territory but I don't hunt, I have a supplier who gets me blood bags legally, so I don't kill anyone or anything for food, I haven't killed anyone since 1968 so hunting won't be an issue"

As I said that the Cullens seemed to relax at my eating habits and Edward asks a question.

"You're hiding something, specifically something from Jasper, what is it?" He asks with a harsh tone which makes me freeze.

And as the rest of the Cullens stare at me I can see the look on Jaspers face and I take an unneeded breath before telling him the big secret.

"When Jasper left for the War he left two things for me, his mother's wedding ring and...his baby"
