Chapter 4

It had been a week since my shift happened. I had been over Sams house so much asking questions. Today we were talking about imprinting. I sat next to Paul who had his arm over me
"Okay so what is it?"
"It's not like love at first sight, really. It's more like... gravity moves... suddenly. It's not the earth holding you anymore, they do. You become whatever they need you to be, whether that's a protector or a lover or a friend. You live for them now. You would do anything for them. You'd die for them"
So that's what I felt the other day. Damn it I imprinted on Embry
"That sounds morbid. It's a no for me"
"you can't choose whether or not you listen to it. If you try ignoring it it'll physically hurt you. We feel eachothers pain so we'll feel it too"
"so if I hit you in the dick i'll feel the pain too?"
Paul laughed before he whacked me
"What was that for!"
"For being slow"
I looked at him and we started laughing. I saw Embry come in and glare at us. Someone's got something up their ass.
"Paullllll"
"what?"
"You love me?"
"Maybe why?"
"get me a muffin?"
Before he could get up Embry handed me a muffin. I looked at Paul who smirked
"No thank you i'm not hungry"
"Nova just take it please"
"I told you i'm not hungry Embry"
He looked at me with sad eyes and handed it to Paul who gave it to me
"Why thank you my handsome wolf"
He smiled at me and I ate my muffin I laid a pillow on him and put my head on the pillow. He played with my hair as I talked to Jared. I felt Embrys eyes burn into me
"Can you guys do that shit somewhere else?! I'm so fucking tired of seeing it! You don't even know him and you're throwing yourself at him!"
I got off of Paul and walked over to him
"Excuse me?!"
I felt the heat burning off me. Sam saw everything about to unfold and yelled
"Outside both of you!"
He didn't want us to wolf out and break anything inside. I went outside and looked at Embry. My eyes turned purple as I argued with him back and forth
"You have no fucking right to say anything to me!"
"You just keep rubbing it in! If you like him go ahead then!"
"You're the one who left me!"
I was about to launch at him to fight him when I heard my brothers voice

My brother had shifted and we took care of it. Luckily I always have clothes for him in the trunk of my car. He told us he was at the movies with Bella and he got really mad at the boy they were with and almost ripped his throat out. He sat at the table and asked questions which Sam happily answered. He was patient with Jake despite all the shit Jake had against him. He was kind and welcoming
"i'm sorry for being an asshole"
"Look as much as it's none of your concern I don't like Paul. He's just a friend. Even after everything I still have feelings for you. I'm not stupid enough to let myself fall for you again though"
I walked outside and starting playing with the boys. Surprisingly I was stronger than all of them despite my small size. Sam kept looking at me like he was confused about something. I'll ask him later.

It had been a few weeks since Jake changed. We were outside waiting for him so we could go to Sam's when I saw Bella screaming at Jake. It pissed me off. I felt this darkness run inside me and little did I know I was causing the ground to shake with every breath I took. Everyone looked at me and saw my eyes glowing
"Nova" Embry said worried
I snapped out of it and the ground stopped shaking Jake ran over to us and I looked at him with a sad look. I know he liked Bella a lot and I know it hurt to leave her. Little by little me and Embry are starting to get close again but i'm scared of letting my guard down.
"Jakey you okay?"
"Yea i'm fine come on"
"I'm tired of walking someone carry me"
Sam laughed and lowered his back before I jumped on and smiled
"You guys really love meeeee"
We got to Sam's house and ate
"Hey Sam can I talk to you about something?"
"Yea let's go outside and take a walk"
We walked away from the house and he looked at me with a friendly smile
"You wanna know why you did what you did earlier"
"Yea. You guys don't do that"
"I think you have other abilities besides the normals ones that come with the wolf. From what I saw it might be telekinesis. You got so mad and the floor started shaking. Imagine what you could do if you were focused."
"Sam when I first turned Paul said something about me being a Luna. What's that?"
"A Luna is a wolf stronger than anybody including the alpha male. The same way I make everyone listen you could too. A luna can beat anybody or anything in battles. It's one of the strongest creatures out there. I don't know why you're one but having you on our side is a good thing cause you could protect us. I'm guessing that's where your other abilities are coming from like the eye glowing thing when you're mad."
"It looks cool though"
"It does but you need to control your anger. If you would've attacked Embry you would've seriously hurt him"
"I never want to"
"Yea he's your imprint. Obviously you wouldn't want to"
"wait a minute! How?"
"I know the look"
"Woah you're good"
"We're gonna practice your abilities and anger"
"yes sir"
