Chapter 18

On the day of the fight it was mine and Embrys anniversary. I had the perfect gift for him. He wanted a bike after Bella and Jake worked on some and I got him a harley. I just hoped I would still have him.
I kissed Embry one last time before he phased. I wanted Riley to see my face before he was ripped to shreds.
"I love you Nova" Embry said
"I love you too" I hugged him tightly
"Please don't die on me" I said
"i'll try not to" Embry replied
The battle was starting and we waited for Riley's clan. The Cullens ran towards them as I waited to signal the pack to go.
"Go!" I yelled
The pack ran wild and we started fighting. Alice was getting ambushed and I used my telekinesis and threw them away from her. I ripped one apart with my mind. The pack starting biting them limb from limb. I used my strength as one ran towards me and threw him to the ground as Embry bit his head off. Soon Jake joined and fought too. There was so many. I saw one about to hurt Paul so I ran over and ripped his arms off while Paul ripped his head off. We were gaining on them but Emmet was outnumbered. I ran over and jumped on his back yanking his head off as I heard his body breaking. Emmet ran off and helped Paul which made me happy since they had beef before. I looked everywhere and couldn't find Victoria or Riley. I used my super hearing and heard Edward saying Victoria was near them.
"Embry we have to go Victoria found them!" I yelled
Embry nodded and I climbed on him and we ran to help Edward. We reached the woods but hid in the back so they wouldn't be able to see us
"Riley listen to me. Victorias just using you to distract me." Edward said
Riley walked closer. I held Embry back as I heard his angry thoughts
"she's knows i'll kill you" Edward said
Victoria landed near them
"in fact she'll be glad she doesn't have to deal with you anymore" Edward added
"Don't listen to him Riley. I told you about their mind tricks" Victoria responded
"I can read her mind. So I know what she thinks of you" Edward said
"He's lying" Victoria said
"She only created you and this army to avenge her true mate James. That the only thing she cares about not you " Edward said
Riley looked over at Victoria in doubt
"There's only you. You know that" she responded
"Think about it. You're from Forks. You know the area. That's the only reason she chose you. She doesn't love you." Edward said. Riley looked confused
"Riley. Don't let him do this to us. You know I love you" Victoria said
Riley stepped closer to Edward
"You're dead" He said before he charged at them
I held him with my telekinesis
"remember me?" I said
He looked at me with angry eyes
"You took away my innocence and hurt me. You raped me! You're wrong Riley. Edward's not gonna die. You are." I said before Embry jumped out and grabbed his arm. He shook him around and his hand flew off. Riley screamed in pain as Victoria ran off into the woods
"You won't get another chance like this again!" Edward screamed
Victoria stopped and looked at him
"You want her" Edward said
"You want me to feel the pain you felt when I killed James. When I tore him to pieces. When I turned him into ash. When I turned him into nothing." Edward said
Victoria was fuming at this point. She roared with anger and attacked Edward. She pulled him to the floor and reached for Bella before getting tossed into the air. She grabbed onto a tree and climbed up it before Edward knocked it down. Embry looked up from Riley and Riley kicked him knocking him down. Riley jumped up and got onto Edward. He pushed Riley's head into the snow and Victoria jumped onto him pulling on his neck. I phased and tried helping Edward but Victoria was too strong she sent me flying into the air hitting a tree. They both got ahold of Edward and he almost died before Bella cut herself with a rock. Both of them lifted their heads up smelling Bella's blood and Edward threw them off. Edward and Riley were fighting before Edward threw him into the rock where Embry got ahold of him again. He bit his shoulder as Riley struggled. He screamed out for Victoria but she only looked at him as Embry dragged him away. I followed along as we both bit a side of his body and ripped him apart. We ran back to the fight that was still happening and saw almost all of the newborns dead. They were about to kill a girl when I saw who it was. It was my best friend from school.
"Stop! Please stop!" I yelled
I ran to her and knelt down to her
"Bree?" I said sadly
"Nova!" She yelled crying
"How long?" Edward asked
"A few minutes. Maybe 10" Alice said
"The pack needs to leave" Carlisle said
"what?" I asked
"The volturi won't honor a truce with the werewolves" Carlisle responded
a vampire came out and Leah jumped at him and he got ahold of her
"Leah don't!" Edward screamed
The pack ran to her and tried helping since he had her in a choke hold. He pulled on Jake's muscle hurting him as the other tore him apart
"Jake!" I ran to him
"Jacob!" Bella followed
"Jacob. Hold on Carlisle's gonna take care of you" Edward said
"What's wrong with him" I asked
"The bones on the right half of his body are shattered." Carlisle said
"bella" Jake said
"Jake i'm right here" Bella responded
Everyone phased back and came running to him.
"Jacob you idiot I had it" Leah yelled
"leah!" Sam yelled
"I need to set the bones before his accelerated healing kicks in. It's already starting" Carlisle said
"We need to get him out of here. We're not gonna win a fight with the volturi" Edward said
"We'll take him back to Billy's" Sam said
as soon as those words came out of Sams mouth another vampire came out of the woods attacking me and biting me in the process. Jasper and Emmet grabbed him and killed him. I fell to the floor and screamed in pain. Embry came running to me. Along with Paul and Emmet
"Nova!" Embry said
"Nova stay awake" Emmet yelled
"Please stay with us" Paul yelled
as they carried me away I heard my friend killed. My heart shattered into a million pieces.
