I sat at Charlie's house with Embry, Jake, Bella, Edward, Seth, Leah, and Ness. "Seth Leah stop eating" Charlie said breaking me out of my thoughts A few days Bella told me everything cause she knew my thoughts would be safe from Aro since I could block them. Jake would be leaving with Ness to start a life together. Something told me Alice knew some of us wouldn't survive. I was so scared of what was to come. I couldn't live my life without Embry or any of my pack for that matter. I couldn't live my life without my soulmate. "Nov you okay hun" Charlie asked "Yea im fine sorry" I said Embry looked at me worried "Jake you start. Get it going" Charlie said He started giving his gifts out and handed me and Embry a box. I looked at him confused "You got us something?" I asked "Open it" He smiled We opened it and it was a box full of everything from mine and Embrys wedding pictures, decorations, everything. I looked at it tearing up "Jake it's perfect" I said "Thank you bro" Embry hugged him "I might've not agreed at first but you two are made for eachother" Jake said "I love you Jakey" I kissed his cheek "I love you Nov. I don't know what i'd do without my twin sister" He said Little did he know he'd have to when the fight happened. Bella hasn't told him yet. She plans on telling him tonight "I actually got you something too" I smiled I handed him a box and he opened it revealing a memory book. He began looking through it showing all our memories including pictures from the tribe "I love it" he smiled "Just so you'll always remember us" Embry said
Jake and Embry gathered wood for our spot and threw it down. Benjamin put fire on only one finger and Jake looked at him with disappointment until he lit the others "That's what i'm talkin about" Jake smiled and walked towards him "A little pre-battle bonfire" Jake said Me and Embry sat down around it "Telling war stories" Jake said I look around and everyone was still standing far away from the fire "Maybe not" I laugh "Or just standing there like frickin statues" Jake said Embry smiled and chuckled softly. Garret zoomed over and sat down "Name any American battle. I was there" Garret bragged "Little bighorn" Jake said "I came this close to biting Custer" He smiled "Really" I smiled "But the indians got him first" He replied Kate zoomed over and sat on Garret "Try Oleg's assault on Constantinople. He didn't win that one on his own" "If you're talking battles, you're talking the Eleven years war. No one does rebellion like the Irish" The irish coven zoomed over "You lost the Eleven Years War" Garret said "Aye. But it was one hell of a rebellion" Liam smiled Garret pointed at him in agreement
"When we ruled everything came to us. PFey, diplomats, favor seekers. Such was our power. But we never put on white hats and called ourselves saints" Vlad said "We were honest about what we were" Stefan said "We sat still for a very long time. We didn't notice we were beginning to petrify" Vlad said "Perhaps the Volturi did us a favor when they.... burned our castles." Stefan said "We've been waiting 1,500 years to return that favor" Vlad said "I'm so sorry you went through that" I said sadly "We really hope you get your justice Cullens" Vlad said "Thank you Vlad" I smiled He smiled back at me
Me and Jake sat by ourselves in our tent. Embry was with us but he was asleep. Me and Jake talked about the battle. "You have to Jake" I said "I can't just leave you guys" he said sadly "You have to make sure Ness is safe. Jake you can't just stay she needs you" I said "You're my sister. My twin. I can't just leave you" He said tearing up "I know. I want you safe" I said crying "I'm so sorry I have to leave you guys" He said crying too "Don't apologize" I held his face "Thank you" He said "For what?" I ask "You've been by my side through all the ups and downs, always offering a helping hand, a kind word, and a listening ear. Your support has been a rock for me to lean on, and I couldn't have gotten this far without you. Even when I fucked up you were there for me no matter what. I will always be grateful for your patience and understanding, your kindness and compassion and your love. You are my other half, and I feel so lucky to have you in my life. You truly are the best sibling anyone could ask for. Thank you for being you and for everything you've done for me. I love you more than I can put into words." He said crying I pull him into a hug and we cry on eachother. "I love you Jake and I couldn't have chosen a better brother to have in my life and I have a lot of brothers" I laugh crying "I'm the only real one though" He laughs and sniffled "Thank you for being in my life" I said We stayed like that for a while until I pulled away "Take care of Ness okay?" I said "I will" He smiled "Don't let her forget any of the people who fought for her and her family" i said "That's why you gave me the memory book" He realized "Don't let her forget us" I looked down I handed him tapes and pictures "What's on the tapes?" Jake asked "The people who are fighting for her. They deserve to be remembered" I said "When did you make this?" He asked "Throughout the days we've been training. Why do you think one of us always has a camera?" I smiled "I'll make sure she doesn't forget you guys" Jake said "Take care of my pack if anything happens to me" I looked down "I will I promise" Jake said I held him as he cried
