Y/N:
Oh, shit. I'll gonna be late.

You hurriedly take a cab and made your way to Akso hospital.

Y/N:
Hey, Yvonne, it's me. Just coming out of the elevator. Dr. Zayne hasn't gone home, has he?

Yvonne:
Don't worry, all check-ups are in the system, which sends out notifications. Dr. Zayne can't forget them.

Y/N:
. . . Yeah. Besides, even when he's not working, he's still in his office.

You met Zayne after grandma took me in. You were eight years old then. Your families had been friends for years, so you'd occasionally get together for meals.

Y/N:
          ( It's been a while since we have a meal together )

[ Flashback ]

It happened six months ago. When Zayne just became your primary care physician. After another day of studying for the Hunter's Exam, you realized you hadn't eaten yet . . .

By the time you dragged your weary self to the restaurant, it was already packed.

Zayne:
That will be all. Thank you.

When the waitress leave, Zayne saw a cute cat and make a snow figure like it using his Evol in his hands.

Waitress:
Sorry, we're full up right now. Would you mind waiting?

Y/N:
          You're out of table? So . . .

As you look around, you saw Zayne sitting alone petting his cute cat-like snow.

Y/N:
          Huh, Zayne?

Zayne look at you as if he saw a ghost. He then vanished the snow cat in his hands.

Waitress:
You know each other? Maybe you can share a table?

Zayne looked at the waitress then at you.

Y/N:
Umm, that might not be . . .

Zayne:
          . . . Please

Y/N:
          Oh! All right . . .

Zayne:
          Forget it.

Waitress:
. . .Um, I'll give you some time to decide, then?

Y/N:
          . . . Yes, please . . .

Zayne turn his eyes to the flowers near the window.

Minutes Later . . .

Y/N:
I'll have the lunch special please.

It's really quiet. Zayne hasn't said a word since you sat down. Zayne look at you, only you realize that you've been staring at him for a very long time. Zayne put his phone down and lean on the chair, crossed his arms and looked at you.

Y/N:
Earlier I thought I saw you making a little snow cat? It was so cute.

Zayne:
          . . . No. You're mistaken.

Zayne lean towards the table and like anxiously scrolling through his phone, avoiding you.

Y/N:
( What a liar. ) I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that you were the new attending physician.
