Abandoned Research Base [DEEP]

As soon as you reach the deepest part of the area. You pointed your gun at the location of the light and slowly walks towards it. You are ready to fire but instead of a Wanderers, you saw a young hunter who seems to be worn out.

Y/N:
           ( A hunter? Are they also here for the mission? )

When you make sure that it was really a person, you hurriedly move towards him. As you look closely, you can see the traces of Metaflux on him. As if he was attacked.

Y/N:
           Hey! ( He's not responding, should I call for back up? ) ( You reach for your watch ).

You noticed a hand covers your watch. You looked at him. You're about to talk when he covered your mouth with his hands.

Unknown Hunter:
         Quiet. ( He then removes his hands from you )

Y/N:
         A-are you alright?

Unknown Hunter:
         I'm fine. But you . . .

The watch suddenly lit up red and continue beeping with a warning sign.

[ Beep . . . Beep . . .]

Y/N:
        (You look at your watch) Flunctuations!

[ Thud . . . Thud ] The ground was shaking. You turn around with your gun but it's too late. The Wanderer is fast and charged towards you.

Unknown Hunter:
         Watch out!

After hearing those words, everything turned white . . . He left you sitting at the ground, not being able to move. The Wanderer was fast but he was faster. As he swift his blades into the air, there's something that light up in his neck, it's like a collar that also disappears when he's done activating his skill.

Y/N:
          ( What is that? Who is he? )

In a blink of an eye the Wanderer was gone and the only one left was its Protocore. But a Protofield shows up. It's like a blue portal that's in the air, sucking you in. An alternate dimension created by the Wanderers using an energy field to lurk in every parts of the earth.

Unknown Hunter:
          It activated it's Protofield. You're a hunter, right? Let's defeat it together.

You stand up and look at him and ready yourself. You two charged towards the Wanderer, one after another.

[ Bang . . . Bang ]

[ Slash ]

The area echos both your gun and his blades. You continue hunting Wanderers until there's only one left.
