The Same Enemies

Chapter 4

Marinette POV

"I like him." Plagg says. I know I can feel it too. I can't be Ladybug all alone. I need a Cat Noir, but not Adrien. I need Felix. I look up at Felix who is just staring at Plagg floating inches from his face.

I need him to be my partner. Even though he had already given up the other miraculouses to me, I'll still need a partner. I also just want to keep tabs on him. What he did was shady but in the end it's one more miraculous Hawkmoth doesn't have. I look down at the ring on my finger. A rose gold ring now sits in its hidden form. It feels wrong on my finger. I slip it off and hand it out to Felix.

"I can't do this alone. Please allow me to trust you with the miraculous of the black cat and stand by my side to defeat Hawkmoth." He stares at my hand still holding the miraculous out to him.

"Marinette I'm not worthy of doing-" I interrupt him.

"Felix please I have no one else I can trust with such a big responsibility. Besides, you already proved yourself to me. I trust you." A tear streams down my cheek. This will either save the world or end it. "Please."

Reaching up he plucks the ring out of my palm and slips it on his finger, changing to a white silver once on. Plagg shivers, then nods to me showing, I did the right thing.

"I promise I'll do the right thing." Felix says, stepping forward then pulling me into a hug. My first instinct was to pull away but it was comforting. I hadn't been hugged like this in a long time. I felt save. So I wrap my arms around him and hug him back. Slowly I feel more tears stream down my cheeks with a bit of a sting in my eyes.

A/N I just realized I don't think I clarified that they are 18-19 year olds in college now. Yes I know it doesn't line up with the show timeline but in this world/AU they were 17-18 when Felix stole the miraculous and he had them for about a year. Not knowing how to contact Ladybug. And I know the characters are not like this in the show and would not be like this in real life but I need them to be the bad guys I'm so sorry 😭

Third person pov
At the college.

Lila and Ayla laugh as Kim slams Marinette into the lockers causing her to fall to the floor. The two girls take the chance to kick her, keeping her down on the ground. A few of the others stand guard at the door making sure no teachers walk in.

"Aww can the poor bully not take what she says to others." Alya says referring to fake messages Lila created pretending that Marinette had sent them describing all the terrible things "Marinette was going to do to Lila".

Tears run down Marinette's face from pain as she takes the hits. Then Adrien kneels down and grips her by the hair pulling her head back then forcing a pill in her mouth the dumps water in her mouth. Then covering her mouth with a hand.

"Swallow." He barks at Mari. She shakes her head in resistance. Keeping his hand on her mouth the shoves her head back into the lockers. Her head bouncing off the lockers. "I said FUCKING SWALLOW BITCH."

"Hopefully that'll teach the brat a lesson." Ayla laughs.

Tears fall down her face as she swallows reluctantly. The feeling of it going down her throat sickens her. Just then the signal that a teacher is coming is knocked on the door. Thank God, Marinette thinks.

"Fuck!" Adrien says he pulls Marinette up by the collar of her shirt. Causing her to whimper in pain. "Get out of here. I'll deal with the bitch."

The others nod, some leave the room and others go to their lockers pretending to get something, while Adrien drags Marinette into the bathroom quickly and shoves her into the stall. This is when Marinette lost hope no one could save her now. That pill made everything groggy and Marinette couldn't keep her eyes open.

Losing the Black Cat miraculous made Adrien mad. It was his only freedom and Ladybug took it away, and she had someone help her. A guy using the Bee miraculous and what he could only assume was the Rooster miraculous, because the guy was invisible. Adrien couldn't even sense them. Then the next thing he knew he was frozen and his miraculous was gone. It infuriated him and who else was there to take out his anger but sweet innocent Marinette.

He left her not so innocent.

A/n I know I'm sorry why would I do that to her?😭 I have trauma and writing helps I guess this is going to cause drama and a not so nice Felix.
